My boy is a year old today.

He's an absolute star, both dogs get on really well...however the cat still wants nothing to do with him at all.

Always wanted one of these, anyway adjusted your image. I hope you don't mind

Loads to be had from our rescue! ;) We have 4..... and a German (GSD)

No, never mind people messing with pics - though I had deliberately gone for low contrast shot :D

Here you go, mess with our other boy if you like

Got a lot of love for the pooch today... love him to bits, and the lass giving him a good chin stroke...

Good old lad, 11 years... I hope he lives forever.

The old boy wasn't well this morning. Was sick in the garden. Took him out for a walk, then he was sick again. Not eating. Got back from swimming with my daughter and he was sick again. When he tried to walk, he would take a few steps and his back legs would fail him.

The trip to the vets was horrible. I've cried like a girl this afternoon. He has been given the once over, xrays, bloods and urine tests. Vets pointed out some vertebrae issues, but other than that they said he looked OK.

Short of it is, he is over 12 now. Arthritis is kicking in, and he is in pain. If he doesn't improve over the week, it is just being unfair on him. He can only just walk.

I'm gutted. The Mrs and I are in bits. We have only had for 4 years, but they have been the best. Here's to you poochie. X

Its been a pretty rough day. Just managed to get him to eat a hand full of food. The little bugger was wagging his tail at us. Why do they make it so hard.

sounds like what happened to my 11 year old bichon. He had no strength in his back legs, wouldn't walk anywhere, was constantly throwing up and shaking. The vet said either put him down now or have a blood test. We chose the blood test ofc, which came back perfectly fine. A week later and the old chap was fine. No idea what the illness was.

wow thats such a nice dog, what breed is he? looks like mine but bigger.

Labradoodle, it's my mum's. Lots of fun and very intelligent! Think she plans on getting number 2 this summer.

(they're also great because they don't shed hair and my brother is allergic)

I can't believe I've not posted mine in here, I thought I had but my last post is about wanting to get one!

This is Crockett, having packed himself away for the night.
