Android 5.1 is Here

On 5.0.1 ota on my s4 and I've just checked my battery 53% with 3 hours 50 min screen on browsing, this is far better, like double, than I was getting before:)

Glad this is finally out for the Nexus4, was holding out for 5.1, and am just wiping and flashing from scratch. Been a couple of issues where the phone was just completely non-responsive, required power button to be held. Been using an iPhone 4S for the last week!
Hoping this will sort things out, and if not, I guess I'll try CM12 before looking for replacement.

Still quite impressed with how the 2012 Nexus7 is holding up, it's way past its prime, but still struggling on.

At a guess I'd say the differences between other devices generally having Qualcomm chipsets and with the Nexus 9 having a nVidia chipset.

N7 2012 has Nvidia, N7 2013 has Qualcomm. Chipsets shouldn't matter for a company of Google's size. They all seem to have ARM tech underneath anyway.
N9 is a poor tablet for the price, probably didn't sell well so its not their priority.
