Just ruined the Cleric Beast on my first attempt of the nightI don't feel I did much different it just seemed to go my way. I was sweating loads when it had a tiny bit of health left and I shouted when it went down. Not felt a satisfaction like that in a game since we'll ever.
I did it with two handed axe, no molotovs.
Ah, that sublime love/hate relationship that only From Software seem to manage. I swear they've somehow figured out how to trigger massive endorphin release through severe punishment.

Baby steps!
Very happy as I've opened another door after traipsing through sewers. Cleared everything so far and only have 4k echoes. I have found a couple of mad mans knowledge as well. Now I have shortcut I'm going to explore the bottom of the sewers more.

Wtf starting to hate this , not even found first boss and a huge hooded thing with massive axe one shot kills me ... A lot!! Still on first lvl grrr and the loading screens take the mic
Just managed to beat Cleric Beast myself finally. Did it my own once I'd worked out the strategy but it was close at the end, I had no vials and only a tiny bit of health left. Once the sod had gone down that feeling returned that only these games can give you.

Found some sort of mace with a nice l1 change will give it a go! Been using ludwings sword for ages
will give it a go! Been using ludwings sword for agesFirst lanten, run towards the fire. Run past towards the stairs on the left. Run towards the wolves. Run past them all, up some more stairs. You'll see a bridge. Run like heck towards the end of the bridge. Hello cleric boss.
If he kills you. You'll get one insight point. Hunters dream doll will wake up. You can now start farming to level up etc..
Question about something I encountered in sewers.
I found the hunter woman who I attaxked first as I thought was an enemy and I spoke to her twice. On the second time I got an item like shake off Cape or something but I don't see anything in my inventory.
Took down my third boss, Vicar Amelia she was a lot harder than the first two I killed think I died about 6 times before taking her down, then wandered around to the right of her area and got 1 shot by some little guy with an electric weapon, not going back there anytime soon...

She was my 4th boss, so shows you can do this in a different order then!
Was just thinking that. Just took down my third boss. Wow was I bloody happy when that one fell. It was close.
blood starved beast. And I was starved of blood vials by the end, boy did he move quickly
