Same here, I spent a few hours there and honestly it couldn't of been more quiet. GTA Online is about the worst online experience I've had so far for an online game. It's early days and I hope they significantly improve it it's got potential to be amazing!
To many mushrooms has made me incapable of walking let alone smash some bird lol.. Yesterday I had the giggles for about 10 hours... My ribs and chest feels someone has kicked the **** outta me

I ordered and downloaded the game last night, how do you think it will run on this system?

I suspect I will have to lower the settings somewhat!

I think a 5870 will struggle to even run two screens.
I'm using an i5 3570k, 7850 2gb and 8gb of ram. Using 1 1080 screen I'm getting maybe 40fps with 4x msaa and normal/high settings.

I regularly visit and there is a coffee shop with a bar opposite at the top of the main strip, right of the square down a walkway.
I was out cold, zombied for over 3 hours. I literally bought a pre rolled, walked into bar, bought pint. Sparked up and within 10 mins I couldn't even scratch my own arse...
Should have asked for a light, not medium. Silly silly man.
Good trip though?
Sticking on adaptive vsync in nvidia drivers and disabling it ingame helped the fps drops be less incase u wana do that.
Btw flying with trevor. Someone said it was hard i thought it was managable. Using a 360 pad. Just use the l and r buttons to turn instead of the stick to turn left and right. Wasnt smooth tho the plane kept jerking a bit i dunno if thats my comp or a natural bug of the animation? Still was fun and gorgeous to look at.

Hahahha saw many people like that over last 3 days... Ya bud was chilling in that lost in Amsterdam bar front window was like we had our own stage thousands of people walking past laughing at 3 mangled lads crying with laughter was great fun lol we didn't move from there for about 12 hours says on the box only last 4 or 5 hours but I was still laughing and seeing things for a lot longer lol

Did you set it as the global setting and use adaptive not just vsync on in nvidia panel. Dont use it using nvidia inspector as i think it doesnt work too well that way i dunno.
One thing i tried to do which failed miserably is try to avoid vsync using frame rate limiter in nvidia panel. It really messes up the game if you avoid any form of vsync its like its a requirement to have vsync on in this game. I thought setting the fps to 58 would fix it and never tear as never go over 60 but ingame it did go over 58 as i set it went to 60 and i thought EH! So that method failed so the adaptive vsync is best i can come up with to avoid the 30fps drops when your near a little over 60fps due to vsync so far it works well it doesnt drop sharply now so less stutters as no more sharp drops.
Anyhow just sharing what i tried in general as that 30fps when you get it is not pleasent.

Use rivatuner statistics server to limit fps? I'll try when I get home to lock mine to 30fps and try running this in 4k scaled down to 1080p to see what results I get.
Probably a slide show as my poor 780 eats it's self.
