I have a pair of studios , and while I don't think there worth there 250+ price tag, they are no where near as bad as people say they are. I luckily got mine for like half price, and for listening to music with a lot of bass, rap and hip hop etc, I think there brilliant ! Like people have said if they was that bad they wouldn't have sold as many as they have. The make of the headphones is actually monster , which I've always thought were a decent brand anyway.... And why would all the most popular dj's use those mixr headphones if they were as bad as eVeryone says ? Must be paid or something ?
I saw the thread title and wondered if I would see everyone ripping into Beats once I started reading the thread itself. I'm so happy that everyone here knows how overpriced and crap they are too!
OCUK should stock Grado headphones. I would argue that they look way better than Beats anyway. A shame I can't use my SR80i at work, but open back is part of what makes them sound so good.
Why do people buy iphones or any apple product....when you can get superior products for half the cost.
Its all down to marketing
not a fact but it is a chick.
Indeed
Corsair are a marketing machine same as Razer they have some of our best selling products regardless of people who spend a but more time doing research's opinions.
We have a forum for Enthusiasts and a Shop for everyone. You don't have to like it nor do you have to buy it but people do and will![]()

Beats Solo2 ($199)
WoF_photo_Senn_HD251IILikely to be the world's most popular headphone for a while to come, the Beats Solo2 is worthy of the position. Solid build, good looks, color choices available, and a warm and punchy sound the general public will love. Audiophiles will find it a bit thick in the mid-bass to low-mids, and will notice a rolled-off top octave in the treble. But they'll also find the bass quite tight and well defined, and likewise a treble that's articulate and clear. While the Solo2 is excellent for the urban and pop music crowd, those interested in a clearer sound might prefer the Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear or V-Moda XS. Bottom line: the Solo2 performs right at best-in-class for $200 on-ear sealed cans.
Isolation, comfort, and efficiency are all good with Solo2, making it an excellent choice as a portable headphone. The cable uses a 3-button remote and a zippered soft side case is included.

Well we got to pay for this forum somehow![]()
99% sure this is an elaborate shenanigan to highlight my clearly flawed headphone purchase history
Was this some other companies cast off's you got a good deal on and thought you might be able to turn a profit on?
Will you be selling Beyerdynamics or Shure audio equipment in the future?
