US: Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (US timeline) *spoilers*

I find them fine as supporting characters but not sure i'm that interested in seeing them as the lead in a new show.
 
It's a bit weird that the UK is a few weeks behind the US on this yet we're getting AoU a week early. The first tie-in episode airs in the US next Tuesday, so even watching the show at US pace, many of us will be slightly out on the intended time line.

I guess that's just par for the course when it comes to network television though. Such an outdated concept.
 
Good job I'm going to see the film tomorrow morning. Networked TV is just like the rest of the entertainment industry, stuck in a past they are afraid of leaving. If it cost me a fee to download the latest episodes of programs I want to watch, and I mean as soon as they are first released, then I'd pay as long as it wasn't Steam prices stupid.
 
Saw Ultron today so i'm safe, didn't see Winter Soldier in the cinema and not having that sized spoiler ruined for me again as I kept up with Shield!

Yeah seeing the ending of Winlter Soldier in a Shield episode really annoyed me.

If Shield starts to tie into AoU from next week then I think I will stop watching Shield until I have seen the movie.
 
Its a great tv series so far really do like it I was a bit confused if they are introducing the inhumans and elements of them yet the marvel film inhumans is due 2019......

Its tieing into the big screen marvel films and universe well however if you watch the films you would not require to be up to date with agent carter or aos at all, although with the above point of the inhumans element it throws a spanner in the works lol

Not sure where they are going with the real shield or coulsons shield for now but it they did suggest coulson had diverted funds to massive bed site camps and his interest in locating inhumans/powered people off the list, so secret avengers or group B or backup avengers maybe what he is doing, otherwise yeah could see it tie up with captain america 3/spiderman storyline, otherwise hope they do spin off those 2 rumoured spin off shows especially Ms Marvel and bobby/lance as mr and mrs smith
 
Awesome will not watch it till seen the film thanks...

had a feeling it was coming soon but thought it was 2-3 episodes down the road perhaps due to it coming on 1st in states and this episode hits 1-2 days before the launch :)
 
Are you sure even though its a lead up to the film it don't spoil it ?

This is coming from someone who has ignored every trailer and screen shot as much as possible for the past 6 months haha

There are no spoilers in this ep, the ending just directly sets up the opening sequence of Age of Ultron.

I am glad it did that, it was one of my biggest annoyances of Age of Ultron. But the SHIELD ep seemed a little contrived to tie in with Avengers2.

Now we need to know what THETA protocol is!
