He said "Fact", so must be true.

Also I got a 2 week suspension for typing **** at someone (I actually pressed the star key 4 times and didn't type any swear words at all)

Sorry perhaps shouldnt have used the word fact but no need to get childish or sarcastic. As posted happy to be proven wrong. Wasnt trying to stirr up things but i do feel there is a wide misconception that 4gb of vram isnt enough and i think as current things stand it is enough even for 4k.

This is more like it ! Others have picked up this. Go AMD !!

Rooting for the underdog !

If it has 4096 GCN cores at 1Ghz or above it will 100% be the fastest single GPU card by a large margin ... by how much we don't know.

The 4096 / 1Ghz has been the only consistent rumour since the beginning (November / December last year).

With games like Dying Light, GTA V and SoM more VRam is deffo better at 4k IMO.

Its still a fact whether you think it matters or not.
AMD had the 8GB DDR5 card out 7 months before all the NV consumer cards.

I think you are missing the point people are trying to make (which is a very valid one). If this is a Titan X beating, behemoth of a card that people will be buying for 1440p and 4k gaming, 4GB is a pretty stingy amount of vram to have on the standard reference card.

Lol no problem and it made me chuckle was all. I also didn't mean to be rude but running 1080 even on GTA V with everything maxed uses over 4GB and 1440P is close to 6GB. 1440P on COD:AW I couldn't run max settings on the 290X and textures were all muddy looking but on the Titan (original) I was getting really high frames (60+ always) and had the VRAM to cope. There is other games as well but I have been on 4am starts, so brain is a little mashed. :)

Given the nature of most of his posts, you think that was the only thing he tweeted?

Well I wasn't blocked till I took the mickey in that tweet I mentioned but you can think what you like, I don't really care and it is just a GPU forum lol Much more important things to worry about.
