Im hoping that fire bint brings him back to life, then he kills every last one of the ***** esp that little ****

I had a thought last night... and I see I'm not alone in it.

Is it by chance Melisandre is where she is? :)

yeah I think it is very likely she helps out somehow, she looked very shocked when she realised Stannis' troops had half deserted* - perhaps she was wrong about him and now thinks it is Jon she is supposed to be helping

the other thing is that if he has died then 'his watch has ended' - he's free to go and join in the wars of the seven kingdoms if he is brought back

*also re the books (this isn't spoiling anything as the books haven't even got to that point) Stannis' army is split between 'King's men' (people still following the faith of the seven) and 'Queen's men' (people who've converted to follow the lord of light)... I'm guessing in the next book if/when Stannis executes his daughter then perhaps the King's men will desert him? Just like half his army/the sell swords just deserted him in the show.

spoiler from books, but from 3 books ago
Given that the lady millesandre is there it seems obvious that he won't die, he's to pivotal a character (imo) in the north. Now, I seem to remember from about the 4th book, that the guy who kept bringing back that knight to life and Kat Stark (who it seems isn't part of the story anymore) was a priest of the lord of light! No??)

Did not expect that ending! Guess we can't expect anyone to survive now! Serves me right for caring for a character! :p

Ah this show! 8 months is a hell of a long time to wait now! :(

Guess I'll start watching them from the beginning again :)

Read the books, I've just started book 2. Decent!

Nahh she's going to go postal on everyone who caused her pain and suffering.

When she got picked up after being comforted by Qyburn you saw her expression change very subtly which points to the above.

Book spoiler ahoy:

I'm quite interested to see if they have replaced Ser Gregors head in the show, as in the books they send it to Dorne as an offering for Oberyn being killed. I can't remember that scene in the show?

Thinking about it,

If Jon Snow is Azor Ahai, it's possible that Long-claw is actually Light-bringer (just needs to be set ablaze) - it would explain why his sword was able to kill the white-walker (when only dragon-glass is meant to work) - it also explains the reaction of one of the white walkers watch him from a distance specifically.

Ahor Ahai is 'reborn', implying that a person must 'die' first.

This would fit with all the comments make by the actor regarding that Jon Snow is dead (as he needs to be) and that Jon Snow would not return.

That his body will return, but his name will be different. The choice of wording they are using seems specific.

I don't think he'll have a head. I reckon his helmet is going to get knocked off at some point revealing he's a headless reanimation of Gregor. In the books that is. I think you saw his head in the show.

Book spoiler reply:

Yeah, in the books it's said there's just a helm and no mention of any eyes. Obviously in the show you see these eyes with a totally lifeless expression - I'm wondering if it's a) the Mountains' actual head or b) someone significant that has been beheaded previously :o

You can actually see the poor attempt at cgi'ing on her head to the body doubles (plural:more than one body double judging by the different boob shapes I saw).

Dragon cgi was really good today though!

edit:

I didn't think it was that bad but can obviously be picked apart on a 1080P TV or Monitor up close. I would have thought it was a lot easier to put her face on a body double that it would to digitally erase all her tattoos..
