I'm so disappointed that there is no HDMI 2.0 I've been waiting so long to buy one, but hdmi 2 is an obligation for me... Love the card, but i've got to buy a 980ti ... -_- so bummed

Do you play games on a HDMI 2.0 4K 60hz TV or intend to do so in the not too distant future. No then you don't need it.

yep 4K60hz TV ... And I like my experience with this type of setup, I know you get a bit more input lag with TVs, not as good response time, but I don't play FPS. I was going to go with 2 fury x's ... I was so excited about purchasing them, that it didn't even occur to me that they may not have HDMI 2 ... almost cried when I read it for the first time lol.

Yes my samsung 48 has 3 x hdmi 2.0 60hz 4k 4:4:4 colour. It suprises me that no one looks beyond small monitors

yep, I have an LG 49UB850V, a lot of clouding when I got it, dismounted the back and refitted it, and it's fine now (well to my likings anyway)

All the stock? Of what? 30 fans for UK fury's?

Then 30 for US, 30 for EU, South America another 30, leave 10 for Aussies, and another 20 for Asia, and you have 150 cards with 150fans. Never knew Gentle Typhoon had such supply problems

I often ask myself the same question also, but then you don't get the same response times on TVs and often a lot more input lag, so I can also understand people wanting monitors. 40+ inch monitors woold be cool especially with 4k

Modern TV's have pretty good response times.

Its a huge fail for AMD given the very appealing form factor of the card.

Going the fail route. Coupled with the currently relatively poor performance and lack of availability its yet more lost sales.

AMD seem to be doing everything they can to shoot themselves in the foot. :confused:
