DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

Spent the weekend playing with the DFGT, sooo much better than a pad, you just need to be prepared to hate it for the first hour or so.

However I still can't get close to dg! :( Spent way to much time on this one track, not realy touched the championship.

100% concentration, 100% of the time. If you let the mind wonder for a second you're in the ditch or off a cliff :D

i have practiced that track to death. :D

also gearing and suicide is part and parcel of a great time on there.

cant wait to get my Renault 5 turbo later

Dug this out after a wee break since I got a new GPU. Had a blast! Still finding that I can either be fast, but likely to crash, or slow and steady to have a better overall time. Examples of both below in delicious 1440p60fps!

Taking it too slow

pushing it too hard

Here are the details of what is included in the patch:

Gameplay – The reset button should appear sooner during those awkward moments when you beach your car at the side of the road. Though we advise not beaching your car.

Yes, this was so annoying, glad it's fixed.

the new cars take some driving :D

just been trying to record a manta run in the rain :p oh my she likes to step out :D

will upload it soon. great fun.

Only started playing this at the weekend. Its frustratingly difficult to get into.

(Im not suggesting it should be too easy, not at all, but Im finding the tiniest stones etc flip you over, and some hairpin turns (for example) are 10 seconds after the co-driver has mentioned it, while others are about 4 seconds after (same track , similar speed) and its just frustrating at the moment - will keep on going but personally think Mini Cooper (while a classic rally car and should be included, is far too difficult a car to start on)
