The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Just purchased this recently, really enjoying it.

In hindsight playing on the 3rd hardest difficulty seems like a bad move for a first timer to these games :p faught the shreiker last night about 7 times...failed dismally 6 times in a row barely getting it near half health. Then somehow managed to kill it without taking a single hit on the last attempt  odd how well a fight can go once you get the hang of timing everything and noticing all the "tells"

How many hours play time does this game tend to last for? I've only played about 4 hours or so so far and feels like i've barely scratched the surface.

I've played through twice and it took about 170 hours. Though neither time doing everything.

 Nice! I love knowing I'm going to get my monies worth, just hope i stick with it...i've got a terrible habit of half completing games then getting too distracted by dota or something.

I can see I can pick this up for £18 on cdkeys.com.

What kind of performance/settigns would ou expect from my i5 2500k, ssd and a 7950 twin frozr 3 gpu?

Should be fine.

Runs well enough on my 2500k + 280X with decent settings. Averages around 50 FPS. (My CPU is running at 4.6 though)

Just start a NG+ and do the same as you are now. At least your have stuff to work towards.

I'm still playing the game all these months later. I only recently got to skellige so go lots of quests left.

I thought about it, but the game is too fresh in memory...when I replay it I want to have it forgotten a bit so I can enjoy it even more, I never replay games soon after I finish them, usually I wait at least a year

But the desire is strong, not denying that :D

185hrs played, Lv26 and still haven't finished the game :o Though I have been playing on and off lately due to me not having as much time to dedicate as I'd like. Got visit some Isle of Mists now after some hilarious hi-jinks at Kaer Morhen.

Having that awful feeling now that I'm getting to the end of one of the greatest games I've ever played or become so immersed in. Skyrim and Dragon Age Inquisition will feel very stale now.

What Gwent deck do people like playing with? I dabble but for me it's the Northern Kingdoms set every time, all those spy cards can't be beaten.

I think I like the Nilfgard deck the most. Spies are well op though!.. The game is most fun when you start getting combos together.

I think Gwent would be much improved if there was a limit on special cards you could start with in a game.

Monster deck is such a beast once you get it built up. I still prefer using Northern though, with the Siege Commander bonus.
