The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Reading about the the game before I played it I was sure Gwent would be something I'd have zero interest in, I couldn't have been more wrong!! :)

I've dabbled with the other decks but usually go back to Northern.

If I grab this on Steam, can I transfer my saves?

It's really bugging me that it's not clocked up my hours in Steam haha. So sad I know :(

Are there any mods for this, or anything like it, that stop the camera from zooming in when you activate your witcher senses? Walking around with witcher sense turned on is like playing a game on an awful FOV. Makes me feel almost motion sick if i play too long in parts that need me to do that. Would love to be able to stop it from changing the camera distance from the default.

EDIT: Nevermind, just found the setting you can change in an ini file. Coincidentally it appeared in a video for a completely different mod.

Am I the only player who never bothers to play Gwent even though I'm near the end of the game

I tried it once by accident, won by accident and never played it again. I beat the game a few days ago and not once did I feel my usual urge to complete all quests. Every single qwent quests was ignored.

If it is what I think he referring to, I made a post about it before, although it not in the post but Gopher have put it in his comment section how to turn the blurr off.

For you guys that liked gopher's immersive hud's for Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV he has now made one for Witcher 3 as well.

Thought I post it incase some of you would be interested in it. Still a work in progress though, for now only does one thing, which is adding the mini map when you usinging Witcher Sense.

If Witcher Senses make you feel a little sick when you use them you can turn off the blur effect by going to the '\bin\config\base' folder of you game and finding the file called gameplay.ini. In there find a value called 'MotionSicknessFocusMode' and change it to true.

Hope it helps. :)

Sorry, yea it's that one TheSwede mentions, would have mentioned it but i was too eager to play and forgot. Gets rid of the blurring (focus effect on the center of the screen) but doesn't remove the zooming effect, could do with something to get rid of that too ideally but that setting does the job for the most part.

I have been keeping clear of Gwent until I have purchased as many cards as possible from the traders.

I am also trying to draw the game out as long as I can by completing all the side missions before delving too deep into the story. This is one of the best game I have played for years!

Just started the game and thought about doing that, but in Baldur's Gate 2 I did the same and remember the world suddenly feeling very sad and empty once I'd finished the quest. I thought perhaps this time it'd be nice to have some "cleaning up" to do after the climax...

Be careful of that as some games/cards are only available at certain points.

If you miss them, there's no way to go back.
