Yes, which they pay for through taxation. Since immigrants, on average, consume public services at a lower rate than UK-born citizens there is a simple net gain for the UK's public services.

I don't understand why you have quoted me , I want the skilled immigration , I don't want unskilled to an extent unless we have more demand than supply but as you have said we have that in abundance.

We need to cap or set a limit of what immigration we need , it needs to be reactive so if we are short of unskilled workers we can go and see who's applied , who's applying .

Maybe I'm too optimistic , to think that is a possibility

Wasn't me that brought up killing babies to make room for migrants. Being anti-abortion is a good humanist view first and foremost.

Like indigenous folk they'll become a net drain on the economy as they are no longer working, claiming benefits and using NHS services more. So Mr Jack's assertion that all these immigrants will be a net gain for the UK economy is looking more and more dubious as we scratch the surface.
