Film was definitely removed and windscreen was wiped before setting off.

I've changed it to 1920x1080 30 FPS HDR so will see what happens!
 
Are all the 0806 models the same with just the company name different?
Such as Wingoneeer, Chitronic, Monkon, Blueskysea etc?

Seeing as they're around £70 or so, it seems not too bad a deal.

well, I have a ford, and the cigarette lighter and the 12V cigarette lighter socket in the back are both always on

so i wrote something up on the ford owners club and one of the mods there showed me this wire that he has made for many members

this :

basically what you do is, find the fuse box, take out the fuse to the "ignition", put that fuse into the new fuse wire (bottom socket), pop the fuse wire in with another fuse (so now the ignition fuse has 2 fuses instead of 1

bolt the earth wire to the chassis, and bobs you uncle, the new cigarette lighter goes off when you switch the ignition off, just need to mount it somewhere useful :)
 
Two 0805s arrived and I installed them both yesterday. Annoying that the USB cables are so short as the front one is going into a dual USB charger and is nowhere near long enough.

Does anyone have a good idea of how to keep the rear cable taut? I've ran it from the 12v socket in the back and underneath the internal rubber sil to the top. It then obviously has to jump over the boot door and the camera is stuck on the window. When the boot's open it's taut but when closed it has a bit too much slack and drops down into view of the window.

Was trying to think of something elastic that would keep it up whatever but can't!
 
No doubt we'll have to put up with his grief ridden parents on the news telling motorists to be more careful when he does eventually push his luck too far.

lady driver just poulled out and almost straight into the front of my car
and my dashcam didn't record it

forgot to change the sensitivity to its highest (im guessing that's why) so it didn't record over the files as memory card was full
 
Over the last couple of days, my mini0806 has started rebooting itself randomly and frequently despite constant power (and power light on camera remaining constant).
 
Had my front and back 0805's installed for a couple of days and had this lorry pull out on me without indicating. Mind boggles.


Happy with the quality! Not sure why speed isn't working though?
 
speed ? as in GPS ? maybe your mount doesn't have GPS in it ?
I know with mine when you play videos through Registration viewer, the speed is present there
