Just fired it up again to give it another try in Xfire, but this time with my frame limit set to 100 in AB, instead of 143, went into the options, and noticed i had v-sync on, which id then remembered, id popped on a while ago, to do some FreeSync testing with it, so i turned it off, and it now runs a helluva lot better

Performance is good so far, at least 30%+ faster than my Windforce 290X, more in some situations. And the Fury seems to run very cool.

The only problem is I might need to start turning on the heating in my Man Cave now while gaming! Never needed to turn on the heating with the 290X gaming

Yeah thats the reason i dont want to let go!

Replaced Corsair CS650M with an EVGA 750 P2 and the whine is probably worse - shouldn't be hearing it at 40-50fps.

Disappointed, bought a new PSU for nothing and will be going back to my 290. It's loud and hot, but the sound is nowhere near as irritating as a constant whine.

Yeah temps are great, they've done a cracking job on the cooling, very quiet as well

If you set the fans to 50% you won't hear anything and max temps barely go over 50c . For the sapphire anyway.

Playing Evil Within again, got one card disabled as it doesn't use Xfire, GPU usage is pegged at 100%, max temps 76, and the fan speeds only 39%

Which drivers are people using with these, the Cats or beta?

It's rare to not be using one of the beta drivers tbh. I don't think I was on the Omega drivers for more than a few weeks before moving to the next beta driver ;o

Im using betas, the 15.9.1s, working fine, 15.10s are only for the AOTS.

I'm on 15.9.1. The only issue is the stupid bloomin screen squidgy effect that happens once or maybe twice a week for me. It now takes about twenty seconds to fix and doesn't need a reboot so it's only a minor annoyance but I wish they'd get on an figure out what's causing it. Everything's running perfect apart from that.

Anyone using the Asus Strix version of these? Interested in your thoughts and especially if they are Xfired.

Been holding off buying a new GPU but I'm slowly caving into the idea of buying Xfire Fury's and I like the look of the Strix ones
