Apparently the colour shifting is due to Edge? Should be fine with other browsers.
 
So I was able to cancel my pre-order and re-order with education prices thankfully, I've also gone through topcashback and am getting around £35 cashback! all in all a reasonable price.

I kinda like leaving it up to MS to sort things, I think I'll wait for a firmware update.

Yeah, Just Edge. Terrible browser. Has potential but useless at the moment.



Still hardly had the fan on even when installing lots of big programs :cool:
 
You're making me want the SP4 even more... Just need to wait a little longer... Only 11 days to go...

Hopefully Intel/Microsoft releases more stable graphics drivers by the time it hits the UK.

The one from the Pro 3 gets in the way of the start button when in the more rigid setting.
 
I didn't think it was a hard choice.

The surface book without the keyboard has a battery life of 3 hours. Which makes it a pretty crappy tablet in my eyes. This doesn't mean I hate it at all. Just I know what I'm after and that's a tablet. Its how I will spend most of my time using it.

I just wish they would release the base for the pro 4, or maybe work out issues and release a pro 5 base.
Can't sacrifice kickstand and tablet battery. But would love a gpu to play games. Saying that a pro 4 is significantly more powerful vpu wise and probably about same gpu power as my laptop which I use for gaming.
 
It's a pretty poor trade-in offer, those prices are silly and it's also not guaranteed either as they have put "up to" next to a number of the trade-in values.
 
It probably wont be long until you can have an external enclosure with a full size GPU that you can just plug into the surface, I remember seeing it somewhere already with a laptop.
 
I'm waiting for the i7 / 16gb / 256gb, I've been using a friends SP3 for a few days and its pretty impressive so I'm set on getting a SP4.

Love the touch screen and using it as a tablet only as well.

Not bothered with the surface book as i already got a macbook pro for that.
