If Strava is to be believed (it's not) then I've burned over 100,000 calories on cycling this year. That's like 40 days of eating just on cycling.

There were tons of zomgz good deals on Evans but not much stock. I bought up a couple of things that instantly disappeared out of my friend's basket as there were literally just a couple available. Also, none of the stuff that isn't in the clearance and valid for the voucher is going to be that amazing.

@PaulStat - Check out the previous pages for whatever turbo trainer uv ordered. Cheapest decent turbo that's worth picking up.

errr trying and failing to spot that :(

edit: yup definitely failing looked through 3 pages of search results of posts by uv

This is super VFM at the moment:

£139 for a fluid TT is just bonkers. It has almost 1000 good reviews on Wiggle, and I thought it was a bargain the other week when it was £150.

Managed to grab a Sportful Jersey for me and a Bontrager helmet for her from the Evans sale - add in a £10 voucher from my emails and the total was £17 :p

So Rapha and Team Sky are ending their partnership after next year.

Can't say I'm unhappy about that!

I wonder if Rapha are also ending partnership with team Baby Sky as well (Wiggins)?....

Rapha kit is ugly and boring anyway. No care for it. Be nice for Sky to remain with a British manufacturer though. Who is there?:
DHB - Are they "British"?
Madison
Endura
Morvelo

Or they have the budget I guess to go down the route of creating their own apparel branded with Team Sky and simply made by a decent manufacturer. Pretty much what they had with Rapha though isn't it?

Could be Vulpine, if they fancy launching a line of more race focused stuff.

I think the main question will be whether or not Team Sky still exists rather than who their kit sponsor will be.

They pulled their sponsorship of British Cycling this year, will Team Sky be next?

EDIT 3: Okay, some work, but its hard to find that is classed as "clearence". It will say "From £20", but all but one of the colour/size configurations is normal price.

I found the same - several of the 'clearance' prices just puts items on par with prices on Wiggle/CRC.

I can't see Sky dropping the team they've piled so much money into... Although I can see them reducing the funding. I also think that they've built such a team that they can't pull out now after the successes and creating such an example to the whole of professional cycling - they would possibly tarnish all the good work and publicity done. They've made all the other teams sit up and take notice.

Good shout.

Is that the one you ordered or have you not grabbed one yet?

Which Jersey? I'm still waiting on my delivery from Bikeinn.com

I would be happy if the team ceased having EvilCorp as their title sponsor. a lot of people would be.

Team Halfords.
Team Tesco.
Team Pets at Home. Green kit, pictures of labradors or bearded dragons down the sides and all sorts.

In theory I've got time for a turbo session before drinks/food tonight but.... feeling so lazy.

I suspect I've got a minor illness as my legs are still pretty fudged from the weekend and I'm generally feeling kind of "fuzzy". Annoying.

The actual serious reality is that I do believe (in better) that Sky will have to remove funding to some degree or completely, because they are quite literally being shafted by streaming services..... They are paying off large amounts of people in call centres etc and you can see why, they have totally missed the ball regards streaming and their market share is dwindling down from the dominance they had up until a few years ago.

What a bloody shame...... :D

I think it's the opposite really. Pulling out now would probably be good value for money for Sky. There will still be many fans who associate the name with pro cycling for many years to come.
It's quite a common business model actually, rotate sponsorship to different sports every 3-4 years.

What if I list some company names like:
Rabobank
Caisse d'Epargne
Liquigas

Most cycling fans will recognise these company names, colours and logos despite none of them sponsoring teams anymore.

Bit puzzled and I'm starting to suspect foul play but I think some disgruntled cyclist is deflating my rear tyre because I nicked his locking up stand.

Every morning I ensure its fully inflated, arrive at work, its still fully inflated to the same degree as the front. I leave it locked up at a fairly secure place (sheltered bike locking stands, theres about 10 u posts) near work and come back to ride it at the end of the day only to find it practically flat.

It's not a slow puncture because it never loses air when I leave it overnight or over the weekend and it doesn't lose pressure on the way to work so I'm starting to have suspicions. I've also changed the tube and checked thoroughly inside the tyre. Hmmmm.
