For what ? I would argue that a score of 5 and 6 are pretty much bang on for the reasons I state...

If I had said The Martian 5/10 and Jurrasic 8/10 then he would have a point...

Jurrasic was as good as it could be....TBH 6 is generous...but the ginger was was well fit.

Easyrider, I notice when you are backed into a corner in an argument you have a tendency to do one of 2 things (when the debate has been 100% serious all along, especially on your end, sometimes coming off as hostile)

1 - you ignore it totally; but when directly confronted on with evidence you can dispute you
2 - use "humour" and try to deflect the attention and then out comes the smilie.

The smilie is a big giveaway, like you intended it's all a joke all along.

I've seen it at least 3 times the past week.

Is it too hard to put your hand up and admit you are wrong? And say "I stand corrected"?

Are you not happy with my reply in the end? I was on the phone today between the hours of 4pm to 9pm so can't type the kind of reply I wanted until I got home. In which I did afterwards, which no one else has any rebuttal of.

And if you wonder why I answered this post, it's because I know you would but earlier today I wasn't having a conversation with you and saw no reason to click that unhide button.

You realise the "Next" response after dodging every point is akin to the "La la la I can't hear you" playground defence, right?

You have just denied rating 2 films the way you did, then dismissed what "higher" means, then thrown in a random new reason as to why you rated them the way you did rather than admit you rated them how you did, while also claiming the 'winner' isn't the same as 'won', and then just flat out ignored the word 'won' rather than admit you said it.

Nobody is going to read this and think "wow, that easyrider chap certainly is excellent at debate and putting good points across"... which, given how I started this whole conversation, makes it even more hillaroius that you are still blindly plowing on oblivious to it all. I've told you why I'm here, its to watch you post ridiculous stuff, and in response, you have posted ridiculous stuff!
