That's why I asked if its possible to use keyboard and mouse on it :p
A quick google search shows Phil Spencer saying that they are trying to make it possible and will be coming but that was last year and then you have all these third party things that say they work but I'm a tad hesitant where they're concerned.

just get rid of pc and get used to controller again :D
or buy the Elite controller

I'm in a similar position when it comes to playing FPS games. There's the XIM4 which has already been mentioned at £116 which is quite pricey for what it is or there's the cronusmax plus which I was looking at which is a more reasonable £39. There's videos on youtube showing it working so could be worth a gamble.

i saw that, its a bit like joytokey etc on pc for adding controller support.
i have seen the videos of that cronusmax and its looks pretty good for the money

My day one console is dying :(

Not loading discs anymore and the HDMI is being very picky, working fine on a monitor bit not my TV, yet my laptop, 360 and virgin box work fine in the same HDMI socket, so has to be the console. I didn't even change any cables, just moved to a new cabinet with even more air flow.

:'(

I played with the Elite controller whilst in NYC and I much prefer the rear paddles on my Scuf, it felt really awkward using them and uncomfortable. I was going to buy one going into the Microsoft shop but the Xbox One controller stand for $13 got bought instead :p

Well, my Day One's Wireless packed in today (Was fine last night) So after Microsoft quoting me £130 to repair it, I just went into town and bought a new one, 1TB, with MGS:V

Ridiculous price for a repair imo

Not sure where to put this question. Either here or in Audio forum..

Anyway. I have Plex installed on the XBone and on my PC. It worked flawlessly for ages and never crippled my PC or anything. I streamed Bray rips without issues until two days ago.

Now I get stuttering on the video only, brief pauses etc. Audio is fine, not an issue. I have not seen any dash updates in the last few days either. I have googled this and found a few have the same issues but they were back in 2014 and last year. Netflix, BBC Iplayer for catch up is fine too.

I have restarted EVERYTHING in my house including the microwave and soft booted my dog too. Ohh that sounds like animal cruelty.. I assure you I didn't boot the dog.

I Have also moved videos to my SSD, same stuttering. It also happens using the Xbone media player.

I am presuming it could be my PC, its is all hard wired, no wifi. I have not noticed anything untoward on my PC, no recent installs of anything, no erratic Hard Drive activity either.

I am at a loss.

Anyone else having issues or know of what may be the cause?

Nice to see Microsoft have improved console reliability - just found that none of the buttons on the front would react to touch, meaning I couldn't eject the disc stuck inside!

Had to completely detach the console from power, then plug it back in to get it working... not even three months old, so let just hope this is a one off blip and not the new RROD equivalent or something.

Update: it no longer reads discs... Brilliant!

I have fixed this issue. Holding the power button on the One till it shuts down then unplugging the power for 10 seconds or so. Plug back in, power on and hey presto, stutter free streaming again..,.
