I have no idea who she was but reading the story is quite interesting. I was recently reading some reports on the link between strokes and chiropractic neck adjustments. It seems she had a trapped nerve and had an adjustment on the day she had the stroke. Possibly just coincidental but I am sure the link will be made.

Very sad. Stroke in young persons is more common than people realise. It's one of the most tragic things to happen because even if you survive you can be severely disabled for the rest of your life. Makes me realise how lucky I am to have come through mine pretty much unscathed.

Personally, I'd rather donate money to a company that researches into stroke in young people.

I'm confused. Katy May (whom I'd never even heard of until now) was a rich Playboy model, and would have had life insurance. Why does her daughter need handouts from the public?
