Really interested to hear how you find it. Sadly my 810 doesn't support it :/

Think the lack of apps at the moment will limit it, but will give it a try, want some more power ones ideally, but it's fairly new on the Edge1000, looks lot better than the default screens.

My plan was to develop my own app to be honest.... So it's doubly annoying that the 810 doesn't support it :p

Valid reason but equally you've less excuse with a KICKR! I have to swap my wheel over & pump up my turbo tyre every time! Wanna swap your KICKR for my Road Machine? I can even supply you with a bike...? :p

Pass :p

Perfect excuse for a Mango bike. Despite having the same cassette on the bike and the Kickr I feel like the gears are tuned properly when I swap.

Ah. That would have been great... On an 810 here as well :(

I'm still considering the Point AR though kinda hoping they will reduce it further at some point soon :D I could do cycle scheme again but my company literally takes 2.5 months to create an electronic voucher!

Agreed the 'pins' on Shimano are a pain... KMC chains are made of cheese and I found SRAM chains last me much longer. Although last time I did get a Shimano CN-HG701 and it's been ok... Has done nearly 500 miles so can't comment on how long it's going to last, yet!

my winter bike gets lubricated when it actually starts squeaking, and cleaned when i need to work on it, and a KMC X10.73 is good for 2500 miles without even getting to .75 on my wear indicator

maybe the 11x ones aren't so good, but idk, i've never used one

OVER THE SUMMER!?

100% of summer riding should take place outside and on some lovely country lanes! :p

Oh, don't get me wrong, I will definitely be making the most of my summer riding outdoors! Just at the moment, I'm doing an hour on the turbo in the morning before work, as it gives me some good exercise to keep shifting the fat.

And until my deadline at work is out the way in May (chip tape-out) I don't have as much time in the evenings.

Synapse or Roubaix (or Datum 30 if I can find one)?

Hmm. I don't even need a new bike..... but every time I go over some rough bits of road my bottom dies a little. So maybe I do.

The KMC X11L didn't last long on my Defy so I switched.
Code:
Chain	Shimano	KMC X11L	Since Beginning	2 May 2015	893.5 mi
Chain	SRAM	X1 11	2 May 2015	23 Sep 2015	1,442.1 mi
Chain	SRAM	X1 11	23 Sep 2015	23 Jan 2016	1,117.7 mi
Chain	Shimano	Shimano CN-HG701 SIL-TEC	23 Jan 2016 477.9mi

Diverge... ;)

I really think Specialized will be the route I go for my next ride... Cannondale have worse BB's than the junk in my Giant!;)

I don't "get" the diverge. What's it for?
I should probably want one. The only Roubaix that has any place for decent(?) guards is the cheapest one... and probably the one I should buy. But I'm a geek and want Di2

Damn, you replace your chains OFTEN!

Going from Sora on a 2015 Defy 3 to the following,

Ultegra 6800 11 speed cassette 11-32
105 5800 rear brake calliper
105 5800 front brake calliper
105 5800 172.5 crankset
105 5800 11 speed shifter set
Ultegra 6800 BB 68mm English thread
Ultegra 6800 11 speed chain
105 6800 rear mech GS
105 5800 double 11 speed front mech

Am I missing anything?

Just to check, you're not buying them all separately are you? But as part of a whole groupset, right?
