*** The Official Xbox One Thread ***

Xbox One and PC always seems an odd combination to me when 90% of the Xbone games are on PC. Better off getting a PS4. :p

But to answer your questions, Elite Dangerous is supposedly coming to PS4 sometime and MS have no plans for a VR headset.

Agreed. But with MS now touting their own store and not bringing games to Steam a lot of people will consider going the Xbox One route. GOW4 and QB for example. I've very little confidence in MS after the GFWL debacle so toying with the idea of an Xbox One if the reviews look good enough.

Quantum Break is supposedly 720p and stuggles to hold 30fps on the xbone - whilst MS can fix issues with the pc store the console is pretty much screwed.

dont know about the fps but according to many sites its way more complex than 720p and many places that would slaughter the x1 for 720p are amazed and complimenting the process used.

is it not something like 2x720p frames at anyone time with masses of gfx effects over them. was too confusing to work out but surely if DF were impressed it must be good

All the videos and screenshots look pretty awesome so far, so I imagine the renderer they're using is better than what the numbers suggest.

Really interested to see how the tv / gameplay interaction works in practice... nice bit of originality that is lacking recently.

As an example - Cannot get excited about Uncharted 4 yet, looks to be U3 reskinned, which is a tired game as it is.

why post ps and pc talk in an xbox forum???? im pretty sure both have there own threads

Well if you read the thread the original point was about whether its worth getting an xbone given all it's exclusives are starting to appear on PC - specifically Quantum Break which is high res / frame rate on pc.

As far as references to PS4 goes I agree - however I think that was just a lame attempt at trolling. :D

E3 should be a good showing for Microsoft once again, the news of fully-fledged applications and Cortana will make the X1 even better than it already is as an "all-in-one" media hub.

Still waiting for Sony to release any updates of note for the PS4. The media capabilities of that remains woeful, which is a big miss considering how good the PS3 was.
