Mountain Biking

Counting down until I finish work for the day, heading off camping in the morning to ride in Moab and Fruita for the weekend with the wife :D
 
Finally got my rear elixir 9 trail working properly again. I nice bleed with a new kit solved it straight away. The amount of air the other kit pumped into the system was crazy. I was forever creating a vacum at the caliper or lever where air just came out constant. Feels perfect now, can't wait for FoD.
 
Hi guys. I have a project bike that I am slowly working on, it has a Manitou 3 way swinger (coil) rear shock on it. Does anyone know if seal kits are still available for this shock and where I could possibly get some? Is it even worth it for such an old shock?

A black nukeproof mega am, i had yellow troy lee bottoms, yellow urge helmet and black coat. I can't remember seeing ya orange whyte there, though i was cold :p

Some interesting times there, Loic on a stormer almost 6 seconds clear:eek:, brendog in 6, Peaty has qualified:D, Ratboy up at the sharp end.
Compitition between the guys looking tight this year, apart from Loics huge gap, there is 31 and a half seconds covering the entire top 80:eek: impressive, cant wait for lunchtime tomorrow!!!
looking at the birds times, GBR rounding out the top 3 again! well ******* done Tahnee!!!! thats a promising start to the year!

Loic is going to win this year. But it doesn't mean much, a lot will be playing it safe for tomorrow. Can't wait.
 
Uplift day at BPW. Utterly shattered. Hot stepper was bloody awesome, the middle section was really muddy and slippery over the roots but huge amounts of fun. Didn't come off once today and managed a good run of a470 to break my fear of it (after breaking my rib there last time)
We expected horrific weather. Was cold and damp initially, then snow. The sunshine all afternoon. Well chuffed! Sleep now then will worry about cleaning the bike tomorrow as it's just Brown.
 
Being injured sucks ass, thats almost 2 weeks now i've been off the bike, thrown off the bike, into full body front flip landing on my head then lower back, I showed that jump who was boss though, dusted myself off and went back up and stomped that ******, could barely move when the adrenaline wore off though.
Doc said no obvious signs of vertebrae damage, just heavy bruising, bad swelling and sore muscles apparently, didnt think XRAY was necessary.
2 weeks on now, I reckon another week and i'll be good, still a bit stiff and sore, but swelling has reduced and bruising nearly gone, could probably ride, but wouldnt enjoy it much.
