Did anyone else join a Fantasy league for GoT? http://www.fantasizr.com/sport/fantasy-game-of-thrones-season-6

I was 7 out of 8 after Ep1, but Ramsay Bolton smashed it for me this week, clear leader at the top!

I did wonder, based on Tyrion in that last episode...
(speculation spoiler based on an existing fan hypothesis)
and the Dragons - could the Dragons' reaction to him add to evidence that he might be a Targaryen (as a result of an affair between the Mad King and Tywin's wife) rather than a Lannister... making him Danerey's half brother and possibly also Jon's Uncle?

I was wondering similar myself to be honest.

Certainly seems possible. The dragons would have had no knowledge of Tyrion because they've been locked up, so it's not like they've seen him with Daenerys and therefore can associate him. They also seemed quite willing to let him touch them and get close.

Agreed but on the other hand it's still nice to finally have that side of things confirmed.

Of course, he'll die again next episode now, just to **** with us :p

(not that Mel couldn't just bring him back again based on what we've seen with the other red priest)

Question is, will he be Jon Snow, what will he remember, did he warg into the wolf and then wake after she 'magicked the body'.
Berric remembered but knew he wasn't himself, felt less of himself.

The show isn't likely to be able to cover that too much but presumably we'll find out in the book... I guess if he is OK and does feel himself then maybe he did warg into the wolf. They did focus on the wolf a bit before he woke up and the wolf did react first - there is sort of that implied connection.

Without doubt IMO. Those dragons would have toasted him alive for a nice bit of live fresh meat. You could see their reaction though, they were firing up to do the business, then when they saw him and particular heard his voice, they became as relaxed as anything.

They weren't interested in the meat, it was mentioned they were on a hunger strike of sorts, they were not eating.

*book talk* (though barely a spoiler tbh...)
we only know that he is a brother in the show... I'm sure we'll be told his name in the show next episode, not that a name actually spoils anything

Ahh ok cheers, I didnt know if I missed yet another character lol.

This talk of Tyrion being a Targaryen, is this just rumours from the books? I cant remember there ever being a hint towards this in the show etc

There been a couple, like tyrions dreams of dragons and Tywin dropping hints that he is not his son.

Cannot wait to see Thorne's face when Jon goes to see him. Also cannot wait for Jon to take him to the block for betraying the Lord Commander and (technically) killing a Night's Watch brother.

Olly also should go to the block. Nobody likes Olly.

Yes but the fan theory is based on absolutely nothing.
That is the strangest thing, there has been no hints, no ideas at any point in the book line that such a meeting or affair might have happened.
It isn't like spoilers left for the RLJ theme.

apparently in 'The World of Ice & Fire' it is mentioned that the Mad King took 'unwonted liberties' with Joanna on her wedding night for example and that his wife dismissed her as one of her ladies in waiting because of his interest in her

Tyrion has paler hair than his brother and sister in the books

Tyrion is obsessed with dragons in the books

also Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion all had their mothers die during childbirth... three Targaryans for three dragons....

it is only speculation but it hasn't come from no where

Book talk above seems okay but please be mindful that some people watching the TV show won't even want the slightest of book hints/speculation.

Good latest episode, although I did have to forward through the last part of the Ramsay scene.

Also I can see an interesting storyline with Theon coming up.

Not read the books but this was the conclusion I came to a few seasons ago and was confirmed to a point when Tyrion set out to find Daenerys.

I actually expected Jon to be burned and then come walking out the flames, a la Daenerys.

One of the best shows on TV in the last 10 years for sure.
