Enjoyed this episode, things finally started to come together which I am glad of because the High Sparrow and Khaleesi storylines were imo almost painfully drawn out. The High Sparrow especially, I really want to see his head and all of his followers put on pikes along the castle walls. Preferably after a gruesome and prolonged death. :D

Very happy that Snow and Sansa are back together and I can't wait to see Ramsay hopefully brought to account this season, although I think it may stretch into next season also. I do fear for Rikkon though...

Not a fan then?

Well, I just think she could do with someone like Tywin Lannister to manage her a bit. A cooler head and colder intellect.

bolton may be a mad dog

He isn't mad and he certainly isn't a 'mad dog'.

He is exceptionally calculating, highly intelligent (clearly), and very shrewd.

Good ep,

So John has Wildings, a giant, Ser Davos, and a red priestess. I've a feeling the Iron islands are going to have a score to settle also.

Little finger? Who knows what he will do, probs wait till one is winning and side with them. He's a sneaky bugger.

I'm presuming that the Vale and the Iron Born will join with Snow and the Wildlings and whoever else from the North they can get to destroy the Boltons.

Quite possibly the only person to think this... this episode along with all of season 5 so far have been great.

Time travel... really?

So? I watched and I have an opinion...shock horror.
You understand that the show is starting to introduce the theory of time travel to us and many outlets are reporting on the potential theory, so again no need to be so condescending.

Trollylolololafalaleee ;)

Cracking episode, many disparate threads are being brought together into a more concise set of story lines so things can develop with a lot punch :D
Good for you, but the theatrics of certain characters arent winning me over. The show can do better

I wasn't having a go, easy there :)

You're entitled to your opinion, I never said otherwise I only pointed out that it was very much against general opinion. I think this season has been really well paced, has had plenty to offer and is really building momentum, last night's episode was no different.

Yes, I understand there an of time travel has been introduced, although I wouldn't class it as time travel in the true sense, Bran has been able view past events - I see this as revisiting memories of Westeros.

My comment was more aimed at the idea of implementing true time travel to the show. That would be horrific imo, it would totally ruin it. We've had enough shows with time travel, GoT doesn't need that gimick.

I would hate to see 'time travel' in a sci-fi sense rather than Bran just watching what has happened.

When he called out to Ned last week it looked like he heard him, that would suggest he can tamper with the past and not just observe.

I think I would feel the same to be honest if Wildlings killed and ate my parents, then I was supposed to shake hands with them and call them ally. Just an unfortunate series of events for the young Olly.

that is fine he was right to feel miffed... frankly if he wanted to pick a fight with one of the wildlings over it not many would blame him for that either

it was the murder of Jon Snow that got people thinking he was a little ****

Why would the Iron Born be interested?

I mean Theon would want to help perhaps but he doesn't seem to have much influence and he already tired to get them involved to help Rob Stark before he became Reek and lost even more respect from them. They did their own thing back then, ending in disaster.

Asha could become king but judging by her comments to her father in episode 2 or 3? she thought the whole invasion of the North by them previously was futile and advocates that their strength is the sea. We don't know yet what her uncle's views are but if he becomes King then why would he have any loyalty to either side?

nah, I doubt it is going to go beyond him simply being something in the wind

he's viewing the past through the trees not interfering in it, I don't think there will be any butterfly effect type things occurring either

The same Iron Born that sacked Winterfell while the Starks were away, leading to the Boltons getting it in the first place?

Yeah, I can see them jumping at the chance to ally.

He borrowed Littlefingers teleporter.

It's better than us having pointless filler of him travelling on the road.

Don't need to see him travelling, just seemed to get there bloody quick. However I guess same can be said on Sansa getting to the wall.

The passage of time is fairly poorly done throughout GOT tbh

I think they've just had to shrink the world for convenience sake. Isn't it something like 1500 miles from Kings Landing to Winterfell? That's a journey that'll take months!

Surely they have a score to settle with the Boltons/Ramsay? They will put aside any other issues to settle it (perhaps).

Well their previous ruler didn't seem to care specifically about the Boltons or his Son (who was dead to him at that point) but just about invading the North for himself and Asha was against even trying that.

So if she is King it isn't likely and if her Uncle becomes King then it doesn't seem like he's been around for a while and so isn't likely to have much interest in the Starks vs Boltons etiher.

I doubt anyone there really gives a **** about Theon, especially after they lost men trying to rescue him previously - why lose more in some sort of revenge attempt over someone they're not interested in much?
