That really is just the biggest load of rubbish. All I did was point out that, at that time, you were the only one showing that opinion. Therefore, it wasn't people, only person: you. You subsequently had someone else agree with you, but not before I'd posted saying that you were the only one at that time.

You want me to have an infraction for pointing out something that was fact? That isn't in the rules mate, and I should know, I write them :)

So the only reason for your post was to point out a fact? The fact that it was only me that held a specific opinion.....seriously? With your little smiley lol

Yes it was just one person me - who you targeted for some unknown reason? Could it be because i have a mental illness? Not the topic - me. Its called ad hominem attacks..For what ***** n giggles with your buddies?

Like i said you would do well to obey your own rules then or edit in a p.s. above rules don't apply to moderators/admins.

Also its not rubbish if all the points i said were true.

1. You didn't engage with the topic just attacked a poster (to join in with your "buddies"
2. If you and Richdog were not trolling then why no reply to sneakysnail? Well? (none of the three of you have answered this and the silence speaks volumes....)

If your posts are about the topic we were discussing then why did you or Richdog or Meridian not reply? The answer is pretty obvious...

And now i understand why some people get annoyed when some people receive infractions and others do not - Who are magically immune...

You're a bully Gilly a low petty bully. Thats my impression of your actions.

Ohh i'm just stating a fact btw nothing more....

I always wonder how people who are so sensitive on the internet get through daily life without having some kind of emotional break down.

ANyways back on topic...

HORDOR!

I suspected that Bran was going to be the one that messed him up after I saw him in the visions!

Also good that we now know where the walkers came from!

That ending managed to get me right in the feels. Brilliantly acted, directed and edited scene!

Edit:
Oh and Surfer, take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. You're massively overreacting. Life's too short for getting worked up over small things.

Same thing with the dragons. EDIT: By that I mean in the last series when the largest of the 3 couldn't even handle a few men with spears. It made them seem really weak, when the show made out they were anything but up to that point. Not sure how she is going to take the iron throne or whatever when they cant even take out a few men with spears.

point with that was that Danny and buddies were in the stadium... it is more vulnerable on the ground... it could fly around and set the whole place alight if it wanted to but it was there to rescue Danny

I didn't realise at the time that the King in the play was played by Richard E Grant.

I didn't notice when he was playing the king but the scene in the dressing area afterwards

if you're on the spectrum so to speak or something along those lines then you might want to step back and consider that that might be applying in this instance too - you're reading way too much into this, people were just disagreeing with/mocking your position - don't take it too personally. I certainly don't think Gilly was trying to bully you or anything along those lines.

The Children of the Forest seem quite... useless now considering they had the powers to create the White Walkers in the first place. Some fancy grenades is all they have to defend themselves? Really?

The show is still entertaining but it's becoming less and less as fleshed out and properly thought through than the books with every episode now. Some things are just poor writing and the even the dialogue is noticeably worse i.e. lots of the characters seem to be stating the obvious when there's no need.

Still, it's entertaining.

Well if my view is so schewed from the reality of what really is meant and said......that i find far far more disturbing. But considering that some "more objective" people have now said basically this... then it is me and i guess nothing offensive or slight or insult was made at all by Richdog or Gilly. Nothing at all....

I think part of that is because it has gotten ahead of the books to be honest.

nah your post got mocked slightly, but it was the view/opinion more than you yourself. You're not completely imagination that but you are being perhaps a bit too sensitive towards it :)

It only got mocked because it's so contrary to most peoples opinion.
You may not like Sansa the character (or actress) but she has come a long way from the fanciful "princess" that she was at the start. In my opinion she changed the moment she saw her father's head on a pike and told Jofferey that perhaps her brother might bring her his head.
Yes she was used as a pawn in the games at King Landing but she did enough to survive which was a lot more than others managed.
After the Ramsey incident I suspect she's no ones pawn anymore now. She's come a long way from the 'princess' looking to marry a prince in shining armour. She doesn't mind eating the swill served up by the Night's Watch for a start and she's now willing to lead the fight for her home herself if needs be.

A fair bit of growth...

At what point has the series overtaken the books?

And do you think Hodor's name was deliberate. Or they found a nice story from what they already had?
I thought the escape tunnel with Hodor holding back the door could have been done a little better.

The series hasn't really overtaken the books. The story is now ahead of the books, but it's diverging from the plot threads that the books have created. For example, major characters that die this season may not die in Winds of Winter.

As for the second point, it would seem GRRM knew what it meant at least a few years ago, when a fan joked with him that Hodor is short for 'Hold Door'. His reply was something along the lines of 'you have no idea how close your are to the truth there'.

Hence the status meme thingy doing the rounds on facebook - "ok, not ok, traumatised by latest episode of game of thrones".

yes but he wasn't exactly covered in a load of stage make up + beard so was rather obvious

Richard E Grant wasn't so obvious until the dressing room scene

That whole play was very funny. The thick Northern Ned (amazing accent) .. the King's guts, and the farting.
I didn't even realise at the time that Ned was the kitchen man from Alan Partridge (+ other things obv) :o
