The politician who has changed sides is not on the front page of the BBC anymore, yet the JCB comments are.

Stop being so paranoid.

Probably because nobody is interested in a "nobody" and is not getting and clicks, but the JCB boss is, so it stays on the front page longer

Everytime I read something it makes me lean a little to the other side.

If both sides would just come out with hard facts about things instead if guessing about the scariest most worrying things this would be a much better vote.

I want a world full of cooperation but I don't want us to have to treat really bad people nicely once proven guilty.

Interesting debate here. Not entirely factually accurate, but very refreshing to see unbiased views.

Pointing out that the UK isn't "India's entry point" to the EU, and that Indian investment is there for other reasons. Thought that we would probably have some sort of free movement of labour, and any economic shock would be negligible.

Also interesting to see that the UK is one of the main respond that the EU doesn't have a trade deal with India, as wet are blocking them over IT workers. I assume this is because IT qualifications from India so poorly respected in the UK.

Nice note at the end that technically the UK won't be the first country to leave, as Greenland left ages ago - not really comparable to the UK, but still interesting.

The BBC website doesn't work like that I don't think.

She isn't a nobody, she is a doctor who is Chair of the Health Select Committee and her reasons were related to the NHS, which is presumably why it's been deemed news.

Most traditional labour supporters are at least sympathetic to Leave's arguments, but labour lost touch with them long ago really.

A lot of prominent labour politicians have a history of being anti-EU *cough* Corbyn *cough*, as well as a lot of other major left wing figures such as Paul Mason and Owen Jones.

I'm convinced that Corbyn really wants the UK to leave, and was forced into supporting remain by the new labour wing of his party to try to take advantage of the Tory infighting. If labour politicians weren't encouraged to tow the party line on the referendum, there would be a lot more of them supporting leave.

I saw criticisms of Corbyn's speeches saying he spent far too long talking about the negatives of the EU...

Most labour voters at least feel some of this, which is why so many are confused, apathetic, or voting leave.

the whole approach of the left is very odd - the left has always been anti-eu, for decades. The eu of course has always been a neo-liberal capitalist organisation - its why it was created in the first place, to help business/trade.
So people like corbyn have been attacking it since it was created, and yet now they are all loving it - hypocrites lining their own pockets imo.

Most of my friends who are very left wing and very pro-eu - i find it very odd.

Me, i'm still undecided - there are pro's and cons either way.

As soon as I heard "The young immigrants are hard working..they worry about the wonderful 780k Polish unskilled labour" meaning it's good for the country. This has simply created a laughable minimum wage,in fact "unlivable" for our youth, and others out of work because of this influx of cheap "enthusiastic" "hardworking" foreign labour, which has almost destroyed the prospects of the youth, who just want to be labourers etc.

Instead they're on the dole, no money and are called "scum" every other day in the Sun newspaper. Get them out, raise minimum wage and many of our social problems will be solved and there will be less stress on the welfare bill.

I found the comments disrespectful and sums up what nations like India(who also take thousands of jobs with their cheap and completely useless call centres, I can't understand them half the time). We get nothing from India, they get everything from us, until we can setup a fair trade with them, which we can't do in the EU.

We are currently a footstool, it's time we broke free and roared like a Lion once again.

She is a nobody where it matters.... jobs, business etc. JCB is a helluva lot more important than one doctor worried about her wage packet or her colleague who may have to pay for their NHS treatment because they weren't born here(A nugget of information I found out Tuesday from a consultant).

I knew that he was anti EU anyway but the article summarises his historic view on it nicely. It is absolutely unreal that he is standing side by side with Cameron saying he wants to stay in. Up until the 'IN' campaign kicked off Cameron was very sceptical of Europe and is documented numerous times saying if the EU don't give him what he wants from negotiations, then if we leave then the UK will be absolutely fine. Now he's telling people the world is going to blow up if we leave...This referendum is showing these politicians for the slime they truly are. So much corruption and back handers are taking place right now.

Jeremy Corbyn said:
"Over the years I have continued to be critical of many decisions taken by the EU and I remain critical of its shortcomings, from its lack of democratic accountability to the institutional pressure to deregulate or privatise public services.

So Europe needs to change.

But that change can only come from working with our allies in the EU. It's perfectly possible to be critical and still be convinced we need to remain a member.

I really struggle to believe that Corbyn thinks that the EU will be receptive to the idea of reform. The EU seems completely impervious to any reform proposals as far as I'm concerned.

I'm really quite cynical about such things, when MP's change the "sincerely held beliefs" it's normally to do with payroll politics.

My suspicious side imagines the In camapaign needed a positive headline, Woolaston was identified as "soft" and will no doubt in 6 months get a ministerial promotion for he "good works in her currnt role". Ministers limo and pay rise follow added to which once you've held ministerial position those juicy non-exec directors roles come around adding to the whole package.

Most of the current Speaker's recent opponents were paid off when he against protocol started a committee added them to it, which included a stipend and the barrage of criticism stopped.

Gotta love payroll politics, it's what gives our Lords and Masters their power.
