This was an unprecedented election. MASSIVE turnout and fully representative in a way not seen in this country for a long, long time.

Scotland got 85% turnout for their Referendum. 72% is not massive, hence why its below the 75% threshold that allows it to be re-run.

We won't get a fantastic deal, there is no motivation for the EU to do that, but we may get a generally acceptable deal if we push for it. The problem is that deal may become less attractive over time as the EU changes in future.

Why do you say that? The UK is a huge market. Europe isn't going to stop trading with us. It is for us to ensure the outcome of the exit negotiation is balanced.

That is what the British people voted for! It should have been obvious to anyone voting leave that this was on the cards and likely to happen.

We will just be 'England' eventually. or maybe England and Wales.

People probably didn't think that far ahead.

Yes, there will be no re-run. It's over.

All parties, up to and including the PM fully accept the result and that it is a clear and decisive vote.

Move on. We need to think about how we are going to leave now. A process which we take some time.
