if it's close to £300 and nvidia claims 980 performance, so that's going to be a best case scenario, lets not forget a overclocked 970 can get close or even beat a stock clocked 980 which released at £275 2 years ago, so we've waited 2 years for a card at the same price that will probably just match an overclocked 970 this is a massive fail. Tbh even at £250 this is a fail, this card NEEDS to be around £200 that'll never happen because 1. Nvidia are greedy ******** and 2. it will cannibalize the 1070 and 1080 sales.

980 was released at around £475 ;)

1060 is likely to be sub £300 for sure. Considering you can get a decent 1070 for £375.

My guess is FE at around £250-275. AIB cards at £200-300 depending on models etc.

But yeah 1060 will be around 980 perf. Overclocked it should do pretty well too.

both 1070 and 1080 show what a 10-15% at best performance boost when overclocked :) I wasn't comparing it to the 980 matey but the 970 :) once overclocked it could match a 980 and that was a £275 so whilst yes the 1060 will be faster or as fast as a good overclocked 970 the argument is still there, we've waited 2 years for a card that can't beat or can just match a 2 year card overclocked that was launched at the same price all those 2 years ago. of course in till benchmarks come out I could be wrong but if this is the case then that's bad :/

ffs :p, Ahh ok lol . Im hope to see £250 to be honest. I'm hoping less though.

The rx480 is faster than a 970 and the 1060 is rumoured faster than rx480. So hopefully it should be 980 perf with it being almost 50% of a 1080, cores wise etc. If it overclocks 2ghz+ then it will be a nice card indeed.

Guess will have to see tomorrow :).
