And we still have a bazzilion chances, can't score and have a midfield that gets passed by like Poulsen was still here.

Yep. You didn't need a Crystal ball to know the squad was weak at the back. It's the way it's been since Carragher left. Yet another season and seemingly nothing has been done.
 
So all out attacks go like this milner or lallana get into the box then they pass sideways to firminho or countinho who do same and finally we then pass back. Most pointless attacking I have witnessed from us for awhile.
 
Forgot none of Man City's new signings other than Nolito have played yet. Their depth is ridiculous, no excuse for not walking this league.

Wij especially. He's no where near the pace of the game, constantly slowing it up. Id be looking at taking him off for Origi or Can and injecting a bit of pace back with the ball.

For all the possession we've had we've done jack all with jt. Really poor so far.

It's everyone. Too many sideways passes and always taking an extra touch. There's no pace, energy or directness in attack. Sturridge on the right and Milner LB doesn't help things too - whenever either pick the ball up they're coming back inside, slowing the attack and Burnley can get organised at the back.
 
Dull half, sloppy passing and not a lot of inventiveness. Going to have to do much better otherwise this will remain goalless.
