Usually because they're scared to death of being alone or hate being by themselves. I keep miles away from such people. More needy than a litter of newborn puppies.
 
Single now for 12 months.. been on one date.

Quite frankly i am happy being single. Weekends can go by with the only person i speak to is the checkout woman from Aldi or hello/bye from the receptionist at the gym.

But then i am a weird only child and perfectly happy with my own company.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you're happy, stay happy.

If someone threatened to pyblish a naked video of me

A) I look damn good naked so who cares its just free advertisng
B)you'd actually be hard pressed to find somone in my life who hasnt seen me naked or at least doing something horrific

Hey ho,One date is better than none.

I've actually never been on a lets say "blind" date looking for someone,Or someone i have met online and arranged a date etc..

Past GFs have been people ive known IRL for some time and got to know them that way either from been in high school with them and known them for years and stayed in touch,or work.

Im not the most confident of people so i could never really see myself going on dates with someone on the internet who i have never met before.
The whole thing would seem too "awkward" for me without not knowing what im going into.

Im strange i know,Its not that easy for me though. :(

I've been single for a good 7 years now,To be honest i dont miss not having a GF..Its not a huge deal for me,If it happens one day again fine..but im not really going out to look for love again. :D

You gain that confidence by stepping out of your comfort zone and going on those internet dates ;)
