£33.19 from flubit, after multiple tries :) I'd just stick with normal version, as deluxe you get rubbish packs anyway.
 
I've played 10 games on FUT. I have lost every single game!

I thought i was at a reasonable standard, however clearly not! I'd typically bounce about div 4/5 in FUT16.

I just dont seem to be able to do anything with the ball, i'm closed down too quickly, players appear to be as agile as frozen turkeys. I was hopeful as i pulled Iniesta from my first free pack!

What formations are people liking? how about custom tactics? Its nice to see after god knows how many years, that custom tactics now save!

I know what you mean, I'm struggling to do anything other than defend, I'm not the best FIFA player and I am only playing against the computer right now to practise. But I'm on the same difficulty I always play and getting battered.
 
So I bought the 4600 coins, bought a few packs (wasn't very fruitful), did the FUT Draft instead (significantly more fruitful). Win offline fut draft any difficulty and you get a standard gold pack and a gold players pack. Both times I did this I got a lot more and better players. Think I have 2800 fifa points left (so rinse repeat 9 more times, should set me up well for the rest of the year) and still have 21k coins (and some players left to sell like Berardi). Got these two as my squads (still need to buy Renato Sanches):

Went for pace up front and out wide, all rounders in the centre of the park and strong quick centre backs. I'm sold on the first one, think I may still need to change my front 3 in the 2nd. Don't think I'm happy/settled with that yet.

Had a quick go on The Journey this morning; it's fun. Missed that first penalty you take as a kid though as I'd no idea they've changed it since playing FIFA 14. Ah.
 
Never a fan of UT, often feels like pay to win.

Heard good things about The Journey, probably give that a blast and just play seasons.

Anyone know if your Journey character becomes your be a pro (no idea what its called these days) for online?

I think someone mentioned a few pages back that you get Hunter as a UT player after completing The Journey but don't think it's been confirmed yet if legit.

But as far as becoming your Be A Pro I don't think so..

Yeah it is its just a single player story mode that's all. Only part that is linked to ultimate team is that once done you apparently get to keep using hunter in ultimate team but not confirmed if that's true yet

There is a bug at the moment where the difficulty set in the main game options is the difficult all FUT offline games are played at. So check that isn't set too high.

I'm feeling the same, I was Div 3 in 16 and I've only managed two draws so far out of 8 games :/ Went back on 16 and beat a ridiculous BBVA team 3-0 with a cheap Serie A squad.

A lot of people playing FIFA at the moment are the real enthusiasts, the guys that are going to be in the top divisions, you'll get an influx of bad players (like myself!) once the game is launched properly.
