This, NMS is a waste in this poll, Overwatch is a lot of peoples favorites, myself being one of them.
 
This list serves as a reminder that i have so many games to play.. The only I have gone through is Witcher 3. Haven't even bought any of the other ones.
 
It hasn't been a great year, with only 5-6 games I would consider for a top 5. I have said all along that I would be surprised if Dishonored 2 wasn't my GOTY and after playing for about 5 hours I would have to stand by that. As it stands Dishonored 2 beats out Dark Souls 3 for the top spot for me. Slim pickings after that tbh
 
Hmmm between Dark Souls 3, Battlefield 1 and The Witcher Blood and Wine for me.....I selected Dark Souls 3 on the poll, as I played that for longer than I care to admit, and haven't played too much BF1 yet, even though I think its amazing.

The Witcher B&W was more of the same superb quality adding to one of my fav games of all time, just wouldn't select it as its DLC.
 
I tend to buy games and never finish them, the only game I've finished this year is Doom.

I don't have much time so the "pick the game up and shoot some aliens in the face" nature of Doom was perfect for me!

Also; No Warcraft Legion?

I think my game of the year would be Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, as I've enjoyed that the most! However, Overwatch or Rise of the Tomb Raider for enjoyable PC games. Yet to play any Dark Souls (I am going to play them, just mentally gearing myself up) and I need to give Battlefield 1 and Doom a proper play through.

I'm surprised that Hitman is getting 0, reviews i've read said it was excellent! is it just everyone's aversion to episodic releases? I haven't bought it as i'm waiting for it to be released in a boxset (same reason i haven't got Fallout 4 yet or Deus Ex, waiting for the GOTY editions with all the DLC)

I find the list interesting; I think it would be fun to have a debate about the 20 (or 10) best games of the year across platforms (or platform specific).

I think that some games should be on that list, but not others :o, though it is hugely influenced by personal opinion and preference.

Nah, it is a very good game. People from what I have seen are unhappy with performance/bugs. But the game it's is very good. Some great levels! ;)
