What did you do to your bike today?

Yeah they are 6000k, they are perfectly white.

Yeah, I was just wondering.

Here's a comparions between stock halogen bulbs vs 1 LED H4 40w 6000k bulb. :p

Need to remember to spray some ACF50 over my disk lock when I get home. Got to work this morning and tried to unlock it from under my pilly seat and it was having none of it, it seems to get a little temperamental without a quick squirt every few months.

Luckily it wasn't on the disc at the time!

I had problems turning my ignition on yesterday... :p

Keep an eye on it, it's a common fault with the SV that the pins in the barrel wear out and it becomes more and more difficult to turn the key.
I replaced mine at the start of the year as it was going to reach a point that no matter how much a push, pulled and wiggled the key it wouldn't have worked.

You replaced the whole lock set or just barrel?*

£30 bulb from ebay and so long as you have enough room for a 1" by 2" driver unit (doesn't have to be mounted anywhere) it's literally plug and play.

If you have a newer bike you might need a bulb that takes into account canbus, then they're a bit more expensive.

They really are very very good, I commute on my CB400 and it's now dark on my ride home, a must for winter commuting.

Not the same lighting but very similar, the LED is so much brighter and whiter.

I'm going to have to get some of those LED bulbs, the headlights on a Bandit 12S are about as much use as a candle!.

You can get different colour temperatures, the higher the number the whiter (or more blu above 7000k) the light gets.

Took the Tuono out for it's last run of the year, mainly to use up some of the fuel left in the tank. Far too greasy to have any fun, roundabouts were taken at a slow pace :D

Also booked my CB400 in for it's MOT on Thursday, and booked an Africa Twin as a demo bike to use while it's being MOT'd :D

The official advice for long term storage is to drain every drop from the system including all tubes and valves.

Over winter it is recommended to leave it full even with plastic tanks.

In reality it probably makes no real difference for only 6 months.
