Highly recommend it , as long as you know its weak points you can work around them. Even that guy I linked to earlier came up against it and he struggled for 60 minutes before he broke it down.

I have Wide LM/RM as stay wide and come back to defend.
LF/RF set to default although I sometime flirt with get in behind on them.
CM's one to stay back when attacking and stay on edge of box
Other CM standard as with everything else.

10 minute video on why and how it works. Only thing I would add is you ideally want a High attacking CB in the middle who is tall as he then plugs the gap your 2 CM sometimes leaves which then leaves your other 2 CB's to deal with the Musa/Sturridges of this world:rolleyes:
 
Dabbled in some of the player instructions after seeing the video posted here last night and had a quick game this morning. The difference was night and day and all i changed was full backs to stay back while attacking, and both strikers get in behind defence. Cavani and Braithwaite were just making constant runs. 5-2 Win, I should've had quite a few more and he shouldn't have scored 2. Looking forward to using my BPL team, Musa and Wilson (93 and 91 pace) should be even more devastating :p

There was only one hunter card available for a silly price so got a hawk card and he's scoring quite a few, playing him as a solo striker.

Not tried custom tactics yet. will give them a go tonight using the above.
 
Spent last night trying to hone my skills on the online leagues, needless to say after these two games I gave up :D

I've not used Aguero outside of draft, I racked up 450 games with Dybala, scoring about 410 goals with 130 assists. He is a little god if you play to his strengths. Utilise his pace, keep the ball on his left foot where possible, try and avoid strength battles with CBs, and you'll do fantastically well.

As you say I generally like to have a big guy and a fast guy up top, but then again plenty of people go with 3 small fast guys and pull me apart, so I don't think it will too much of a limiting factor as long as you play to their strengths.

Sorry I was being serious - he seems to use the quick pass all the time and just has complete control over the ball and the game.

My attempts to qualify begin later tonight and I've got the next couple of days off as well - fingers crossed. If I don't qualify, I'll be pretty annoyed as I'm sitting comfortably in Div 2 at the moment.

300kish to spend, I'm leaning towards the standard Benzema, James, Modric - with a long term view of replacing Khedira with Pjanic and swapping Marchisio into CDM with a Shadow, and then Benzema to Griezman, and then Griezman to Bale once the coins flow in.

Yeah I'm not thrilled by the idea, but I can't think of a better stop gap measure.

Weekend league rewards are out - Matic and Douglas Costa were my best pulls. Nothing to write home about but decent enough rewards.
 
Weekend league rewards available now.

Been using movember Hahn for a week now. Good, strong finisher.

Edit: John Terry was the highest rated I got out my rare players pack :o but got Umtiti, Firmino, Sterling and Hahn. The rest will go to SBCs.

Also got a 3 player TOTW pack for elite 3 and got IF sigurdson, IF marquinhos and IF sow.

Yay qualified first time! God those matches were so much easier and more enjoyable than Div 2! The guy in the final quit in the 30th minute at 4-0 down.

Weekend League then...
