That drive with the white Skoda going 18MPH and Vox following it revving his engine was incredible... :D

Almost as incredible as the bicycle race we ran into. :p

To be fair I'm up for more meets during summer and we can do every two or so months during the autumn/winter ? Gotta enjoy the nice weather.

Summer meets are great, but there's something about meeting in a car park in winter with a load of filthy sportscars, and then going out and making them more filthy.

Skoda is not a sports car acme ;) but my car is never filthy enough haha.

Newlands Corner is a good shout but it does get busy at the weekends. Has some good roads surrounding it but again they're often quite busy and a lot of them pretty narrow so not great for big convoys. It's a nice area for a general meet though. There's other places / car parks to stop around there I think.

There's a nice pub in Ripley (10-15 mins from Newlands Corner) called The Jovial Sailor. Does nice food and has a big car park.

More Surrey meets

A change of scenery wouldn't be a bad thing, a choice of locations would be nice. As for it being busy,*its not like the roads around the woodmen were particularly quite or Skoda free anyway. Anywhere in the south on a day with decent weather has the chance of being a nightmare.

Drove passed The Woodman today, still closed so that's a no. Shall check out The Jovial Sailor but I'm not a Surrey local so might not head that way for a while, shall see what I can sort.

That Skoda would just not take the hint! Thankfully my V8 kept me amused. I miss my V8 :(

Fixed what, looks the same?

Traffic cones and a tweak to the colour temperature from the looks of it.

Colour temp is the same, just edited out the cones. Not my best work but looks OK. :p

And I miss your V8 too, but I haven't heard the new motor yet.

Either suits TBH. The good thing with the Moat is easy access (Westerham has worse access from the motorway), and the outside space would be great in the summer (bit cold when we were last there with said wedding!). I don't know the roads north of the M20, but those south are always going to be busy though, and I don't know of any proper stand-out roads there. By product of being by the motorway.

The Grasshopper looks nice, and that car park is frigging enormous. Should be some nice roads nearby with Edenbridge not far.

Grasshopper looks decent with the massive parking lot!

There's a fairly regular GT86 owners club meet there I think (never attended, just seen the name come up). I think it's quite common for PH meets, too. But I have a feeling that it might be a bit controversial now? As in, new ownership not taking kindly to car meets, etc. I might have dreamt it. If I can find out anything about it, I'll report back.
