*** Sky TV Cancellation & Negotiation Thread ***

my contracts up in march so will be pulling the cancel card next month. Are you guys also getting these offers with the line rental and broadband included as well in the price or just sky tv?

At the moment i've got the line rental and broadband with BT but that contracts also finished now and i'm paying fullprice so thinking about merging them all into one at sky if that gets included in the 505/60/70 % off offer.

My parents just got the same thing, are you sure HD is included? I tried a few HD channels at their house and it seems to think theyre not included. I know when i had sky i had to pay an extra £10 a month for HD, i hope they dont expect them to pay that on top of the £32.

Does anyone know when is the best time to try and negotiate a new deal? I just checked and i renewed to a new 12 month deal on 16/02/16, so I'm within the last month of my contract. Can i contact sky now to give my 30 days cancellation notice with the intention of it cancelling just after my commitment period, and try and haggle between now and then. Or do i need to wait until after my commitment period has finished to try and get a good new deal?

I think HD for all the channels come standard with the boxset package. The only extra HD is for Sky Sport, which is £6/m extra.

I've just handed in my 30 days notice period. Any ideas what i might expect to pay for a sky q 1tb box, the top tv package (without sports and movies), line rental and fibre unlimited? Would £40 a month be unrealistic?

What would it cost without a discount?

Just in the process of cancelling our sky tv subscription now. We currently have the normal Sky HD boxes throughout the house. Whats the best way to get Sky Q once it has been cancelled? Also will this include the 60% discount? Many Thanks guys

At the moment I have 3 HD boxes all with HD subscription, All with variety, movies and sports, the full package, etc...Along with telephone services and Broadband.

To upgrade my current package to Sky Q (3 Q boxes, one main box, 2 mini boxes, they were offering the price at £129.65 for 10 months and £134.65 for the remaining 2. Plus an initial £199 setup fee (boxes etc.....

Good...bad? seems a lot :S

I have cancelled anyway.

Been offered the 60% offer already via interactive! But wanting to upgrade to Q boxes. Does that 60% offer only apply to my old setup of HD boxes or can it transfer to upgraded Q boxes?

How do you get this offer via interactive? When I do it I have my account or shop. Selecting just gives an error that it can't load.

Sky keep calling my GF but she hasn't been free to take call. Cancelled in November. Reckon they've e got a reasonable offer on the phone?
