Necromunda and Mordheim were great but the problem was always the amount of scenery you needed for it, not sure how they'll translate that to a boxed game. I always loved Gorka Morka, a lot of fun and didn't require too much terrain (and it was easy to build terrain from scrap wood and stuff)

Im sure GW will release scenery costing around as much as the real thing:mad:

Agreed. If people can use their existing minis there's more chance it'll could well though. I'll still be using my House Delaque and Ratskin minis (if they ever get painted)

Garbage, not necromunda, save yourself £100 and just get a PDF of the old rule book and use your wh40k models.

Hugely disappointed by this as necromunda was the one I really wanted.

Necromunda was about the only game I've ever really played and enjoyed. Loved my Ratskins. Can't remember the name of the house I had (began with a C maybe?).

Isn't this just a bit like Kill Team? Yet to play that yet even!

House Cawdor?

I absolutely love Necromunda minis. They are, imho, the best thing GW has ever done.

I had Ratskins too, btw. My my first love was always the creepy House Delaque :)

This is being sold as a kill team expansion it seems and I do echo what everyone else is saying. I really, really wanted a Necromunda remake. But if this means I get to play something similar at my local store, then it's better than nothing (which pretty much sums up GW for the last two decades!)

It was Orlock actually, though you're right, I could've got any gang considering the quality of the models. Now I've had a look I forgot how good they were.

Yeah some of the Necromunda sculpts have stood the test of time so well, I can still visualize a lot of them even though I haven't seen them in maybe over ten years.

Ugh. I can see why they've done it... but you'd think they could have assigned points values to the original minis.

What a shame. i was looking forward to that; get my House Goliath on.

I ended up getting up early and got the 2nd to last copy at my local store. And a Skitarii gang to quick and dirty paint up for the upcoming campaigns while working slowly on my precious rogue trader stuff in the background. It's the first time I've been excited about playing rather than painting in years!

I saw warhammer quest in my local hobby/comic shop this weekend. It looks a little too... pre-set for my taste. By that I mean it looks like a very specific mission to complete and little to no possible variability. I drew this opinion just from looking at a box though so I may have missed the mark.

Anyone picked it up and is it any good?

Silver Tower is really good, not tried the new one.

Would not say it is preset as there are I think 8 main scenarios you can do you gain treasure and equipment, enemies can spawn depend on what you do, rooms disappear, a bit of an issue if you have a room with two exists you split the room cards between the two so can end up going down the wrong one etc
