US: **The Walking Dead Season 7 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

"Guns, soon"
"Soon, or else"

What am I watching?

I think instead of calling the new group "the Scavengers" they should have called them The Donald's.... "Build wall, nice wall, build high. Walkers fake, dead people!"

Love the show, but hope tonight's is less comic book and back to it..

I watched the first half last night and so far it's comfortably better than last week's, though maybe that's just because no one has hit an armoured zombie with a keyboard yet.

Same here, I thought it wasn't too bad at all. Eugene & Dwight are now becoming players. The insight into Dwight's past has opened up the character quite a bit, and Eugene looks like he's become the new dark lord, for now.. LOL. I suspect at some point in the future we will see where their true allegiances lie. I suspect it may well be a turning point in the plot in a few episodes time. Plus it's the first time we've seen some of the "saviours" openly admit they would kill Negan, given the opportunity.

Wouldn't surprise me if Eugene does switch to team Negan. Besides the whole taking him against his will they are actually treating him with respect and power. Something he's never had and could be quite easily seduced by it. Just depends if he's good at suppressing the memory of Abrahams head being caved in. :/

I liked the idea of pouring molten metal over the zombies on the fence... But surely the reality of it is that the molten metal would just burn through them and the logistics of actually implementing it would be a nightmare.

Doesn't really matter. In the heat of the moment he needed a plausible answer for Negan and he came up with something.

My thoughts exactly.

Does seem likely, he kind of latched onto Abraham for survival reasons and might likewise do the same with Negan. It would be an interesting twist if he (as he seems to be doing) out smarts Negan and takes his place becoming the new enemy hah now that would make for some TV.

To be honest the next few episodes have the potential to be far more interesting. For one Daryl made the choice to not tell Carol the full horrors of the groups encounter with Negan. Up to yet I don't think she knows Glenn & Abraham are dead. When the truth emerges and she realises Daryl has protected her I think she will go full-on Ninja again, only this time she will use her 'power-up' and go to level 2. Up to yet Negan does not know of her existence, so that may be a big factor.

Whether Dwight & Eugene have gone over to the "dark-side?" looks like it will have us second guessing for at least a few episodes. I'd like to see Eugene come good, just prior to Abrahams demise he seemed genuinely driven to play his part in the group. Eugene now already as poison in his pocket, he may have just been smart enough to realise now was not the time to use it. The thing Dwight loves most has now gone, up to now everything he has done has been motivated by protecting her. Now she has gone I think he will bide his time and get closer to Negan before making his move. Successful or not.

Eugene is a weak survivor. He's loyal to whoever is keeping him alive in that particular moment. He'll stick with Negan for now until something happens to change that. The question will then be how Rick's lot see that. If they view it as him betraying them then he could be in trouble.
