What watch do you wear?

It comes in two dial sizes, but it's very thick no matter which you choose. I tried a 42mm on last week and while it looked fine from above, the sheer thickness of the thing made it look horrific on my wrist. It'd be fine for a weekend I expect, but it certainly wouldn't be any good with a shirt on.
Mine is fine with a shirt, looks rather snazzy tbh

Yeah it is fine under my cuff but I wouldn't argue about it being huge, it is a very thick watch. The thing is, and I know this sounds odd, it doesn't feel that bulky when it is on but again perhaps that is due to my chunky wristage.

I'll defer to you on this as I only had it in for a few minutes in a shop - I'm certainly no expert :)

You are right though, I would guess if you have tight shirt sleeves then it would be an issue but for me it isn't.

Now you have an image of a guy wearing a P.O. in a shirt like meatloaf used to wear.....

I think Tom had some pictures earlier of his P.O. in a shirt, I wonder if he has that issue.

I have the same problem with my 45mm PO BTW : with some shirts (not all) basically you can't close the sleeve button, have to wear another watch on that day!

With my Charles Tyrwhitt shirts i have no issues with my 43.5mm PO but in aware they're not as tight as properly tailored shirts !

If it helps I have a 185mm wrist and I'm 6'4 / 215lbs. The 40mm PO is very nice and definitely feels a lot smaller, try it on! Otherwise the 300m is significantly thinner.

I'm going to get a black leather strap to give me a slightly dressier option too, I think the mirror black ceramic and polished bevels make it a little less informal than most divers but it is still not a true out and out formal watch, but personally have no issues wearing it with a suit :)

BTW, seeing the bracelet of that PO reminds me of the trick I developed to clean waterproof watches/bracelets: old toothbrush with.... toothpaste! Works wonder, just rinse the watch and dry it afterward, but it's all clean and feels brand new afterward...

I scratched the hesalite "glass" on my speedie recently and fixed that by rubbing it with a cloth and toothpaste. It's great stuff :)

Hi, I know there are some watch experts on here and would appreciate any thoughts on my watch I am considering selling.

It's a men's Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, 43mm I think (the smaller face), steel strap, just had over £100 spent on service and new winder assembly, lovely condition, with original box and paperwork. Think it's about 12 years old. Cheers.
