How amazing does this game look by the way? I can't believe this little Switch can produce something so beautiful. Nintendo really are on another planet when it comes to art style and visuals. Gameplay too of course!

lol good games, yeah thats twice you have overtaken me on the line with a blue shell, had to quit as the missus came in with tea lol....good games though.

You were deffo the better racer and the winner of today - I feel I didn't deserve to win many of mine... as in, that was my feeling despite the amount of times I got screwed! :p
 
Picked this up on Saturday afternoon as I had some Tesco Clubcard vouchers, not had much time to play it as it was the nephews who blagged me into it but had a quick go and its very fun!

Will try and get on one evening for a blast!

If the lobby starts to get full I'll join in.

It's a bit pants with few human players though as the AI waits to use ghosts, lightening etc for specific times (greatly increased odds of their use when 1st place is in the air for example, or has a horn and a blue shell has been launched) and it gets really boring to play like that.

At least with human players they have to guess good times to use it.

Interesting, I'm pretty sure me and sanddancer both got lightning'ed in the air yesterday by the computer.

It is way better with more players - even if you have no hope of first for whatever reason you can still enjoy having a chaotic duel with others.
 
I won't be on tonight as I'm at work but yeah it's much more fun when the tournament has more players , I've been in when they was 7-8 players all racing was a good laugh, seems they is a lot of ppl on here who play just not at the same time.....and yeah I was hit in the air last night lol
 
Might be best to arrange 2 nights per week to play rather than every night. You'll get much higher attendance that way.

I really dislike that if you're not in the tournament from the first game you are at a huge disadvantage in terms of points.

Once the first player has played 16 games and can't get any more points the tournament should continue. Then whoever got the most points in their first 16 games within the two hour window wins the tournament.

Those who have already completed their 16 games can stay in to try and stop anyone else gaining enough points to beat them, even though they cannot gain any more points.

Has everyone turned off their automatic steering online?

You should still join if there are less people - it's still very fun if there are 5-7. It's still fun with even less.... it just becomes better with more :)

I won't be around today sadly!
