All done for the WL league. Enjoyed playing against silver players and I am looking forward to the 1 IF rule. It creates a more even playing field imo.

Finished on 23 wins, last 5 games I sold my useful silvers and played with what ever I had in my club.

Been watching 87 rated Mane for a few hours was selling around 155-160k so when I spot a OTW one for a small amount more I jumped on it. (Yes I know no more updates but it's cooler looking)

Now he selling for 140k....
 
I had the IF Mane for a few months, sold him and using Willian as RF for me he is proving so much better, always seems to score and be in the right place. Only part Mane is better is pace. He didnt seem to play like his stats would suggest.
 
Aware that it's only for the DKT but I want the Siggy card. Weird about Mane, his price is 200k on PS4 according to futbin. I paid 190 a week ago, his price dropped as low as 150 at one point.
 
I know am going to cry when the Seria A TOTS comes out but am just enjoying using Neymar, Ramos, Coutinho and Alba atm.

Can't see me going back...
 
Ok, I couldn't wait anymore. I've got the beginning of a team and I'm in a place where I can play games again.

Going to take a stab at getting the DKT reward this week but I'm not overly hopeful. If anybody wants to batter me, drop me a line.

Few early thoughts:

Alonso is an absolute beast, love his card. He is a rock on that left hand side defensively and has all the tools you need attacking wise. First game he picked the ball up on the edge of his on box, ran the length of the pitch, out muscled chiellini and then burst past Bonucci to score an amazing solo goal. Unfortunately the replay missed 90% of the good work :(

Kante... a bit meh. I think I was expecting too much, but given how good his 81 is I was expecting an absolute destroyer in the middle of the park, winning everything, crushing the opposition. He has been good, but he hasn't been great. Only 12 games in so plenty of times for things to change but at the moment I'm a bit underwhelmed and doesn't feel like a 650k card.

Luiz is the perfect imitation of real life David Luiz, he is either fantastic or a complete liability. Again not setting the world alight but is generally utterly solid. With Stay Back and Conservative Interceptions he doesn't seem to drift out of position other than when I pull him out. He did cost me one goal in my last game where he took the ball of Hererra and then got bundled off it in a battle he should have won. If I want to make my final team a hybrid though it needs to be him or Azpi and I just can't go with a 5'10 CB.

2POTM Son - hnnnnnng. I love this card. I had his 86 striker I think and while it was a fantastic finisher it felt both clunky and weak. This card is the opposite, strength to hold off the fullbacks, and feels very mobile. I think its the 4 star skill upgrade, scoop turn is just so much faster than fake shot.

12 games so far, all friendlies, 10 wins 2 losses, not bad considering the rest of my team is pretty dross.

What concerns does everyone have over short CBs?

With this years meta, it's all about getting to the bi-line and doing a driven pass/cross, no one actually crosses anymore apart from corners, even then most people just play it short.
 
Losing headers from free kicks and goal kicks is extremely annoying. Also tall people are always stronger because of the engine, think about how strong Bailly feels when his rating is only 80odd compared to Mané IFs which have 90+ strength but don't feel strong at all.
 
I've played 30 games with TOTS Azpi and not once has his height come into play. Obviously he'd be perfect if he was 6'2 but he's a savage regardless. Nobody crosses but even if they do the success rate is so low. I did lose out on Elite by one game due to a ******* Insigne header once, mind.
 
Who was saying super keepers aren't a thing on this Fifa? Just played TOTS Loris he saved everything, even Ibra's party trick 40 yard free kick :mad:

As you'd expect Ibra is out of this world as a CAM, very pleased so far 20 games 19 goals IIRC. Dare I say it, he's better than Ronaldo and TOTY Suarez
 
I was furious, if I can be bothered i'll upload the freekick. Usual swerving into bottom right hand corner, goal all over it .... the Loris plucks it out of nowhere :(

Anyone used Herrea TOTS? Reddit is saying good things about him.
 
Debating whether to spend a few K on new subs.
Currently have POTM Alli/Martial/81 Kante on the bench but was thinking of 86 Aboubakar, 86 Dendoncker, 84 Traore with a total of ~40k.

Who are your subs?
 
Finished gold 1 first time I got all my games in in a few weeks, team as a whole played well, since dropping Lukaku and picking up Eriksen it transformed it and he carried me a few games pure class.
