All french cars have improved massively in the looks department in recent years! :)

really ?
a lot of the french cars have looked great since 2004, the C4 for instance.
just the shabby build quality and electrics have let them down but cheap and cheerful.

You think a 2004 C4 looked great?

Well personal taste and all that. :p

haha acme you do make me laugh, keep buying your bangers :)

What did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking?

13k which i'm not sure is a good buy or not, seems a lot out there are around this money, seen a few cheaper and a few dearer in comparison to mine in terms of mileage etc. Very volatile market out there with these at the moment it seems

A grand choice of motor vehicle

Although grey leather would not be my pick!

Grey wasnt originally on my radar when deciding on what i wanted, but when i saw it in the flesh i really liked it :)

nice m3, they still look modern and the smg gearbox is sublime i love the kick it gives you, it really feels wrong like its about to blow itself to pieces

Thanks, im really a big smg fan too. I know they are a marmite subject lol

The C4 is hardly a stunning looking car but it's very modern looking for a car as old as 13 years.

It's definitely one of the most non-banger looking cheap cars you can buy currently.

That's quite good actually from 900cc. I haven't heard of an engine under 1 litre since the Daewoo Matiz with its almighty 0.8cc engine that took about an hour to hit 60.
Its hardly ground breaking though. Suzuki were extracting comparable power from 660cc engines over twenty years ago (63bhp in a cappuccino/alto works)

I vote Acme

You may joke but I was actually toying with the idea a while ago. The main issue with me doing it is the fact that I don't know any exceptionally good roads around here, at least not ones which aren't connected by towns and dual carriageways.

Someone a little further up the country would probably do a better job. Surrey way, or the other way. One or t'other. :)

I wasn't joking

Any road is a good road unless it is riddled with potholes , plus a good pit stop for food would be awesome .

'Ehhhhhhh... I'll go out and do some more scouting for roads this weekend. :p

Was it you who originally suggested it a while back? I can't remember who it was...
