Forza Motorsport 7

Can the xbox blu rays even get 100gb in size? Or will it be a monster download? Thankfully I have a 3tb external hard drive.

Im quite tempted to get this game, looks very pretty! I played a bit of forza 5 but put it on the mode were I didn't even need to brake, it was very relaxing :D

I guess the times of few disks are returning :D
Yes,it will be monster download, preload starts probably week before launch,so shouldnt be any problems

Seems F7 impressed E3

this isn't a troll towards Forza 7, but it's definitely got some serious competition in Project Cars 2 this time around. No doubt Forza 7 the whole package will be terrific, but what I've seen and read, the handling is definitely not good at all in Forza 7, well regarding a steering wheel anyway, might be different at release though which is always something to bear in mind. Looking at PC2, it does appear to handle much better and looks like the game responds very quick to driver inputs. Bit hard to tell visual quality due to the VR experience here, but the sound and immersion into the race looks fantastic. It might be a case of Forza 7 with a controller from the sofa for some amazing chilled out casual play, tuning, painting, campaign racing etc and then PC2 for the more race immersion, better handling and competitive simulation racing. Going to be a great autumn for us racing enthusiasts that's for sure, I can't wait.

Some more gameplay, it look good to me.

Its just a shame like all the other gameplay vids ive seen, whoever is playing has full assists on inc brake assist, so its hold the accelerator down and turn left or right mode.

I look forward to playing the demo when it arrives.

ah,this is the one with proper colors,as other videos are kinda rekt due to HDR
yeah, full assists is just..cant watch :D want to slap that person :D

Those of you who have HDR TV's i highly recommend download these videos from gamersyde

If you dont have HDR,video will be "washed out" SDR (not how game really looks)
I honestly cant believe how T10 did this,its not just 4k anymore.Wizards

It is indeed very impressive i have just watched them now on my LG OLED and the amount of detail in the cars especially the interior views is amazing
they have even got to the trouble of simulating the rattle and shake of the interior wires and air ventilation pipe on the nissan skyline.

I am going to watch them again to see what other little graphical details i can spot.

Seems a lot of 'wow' comments coming from Blims (Gamersydes) HDR videos, I've remoted in to home and downloaded them ready for when I get home (LG C6 here).

I've seen plenty of 'discussion' about all things missing in FM7 when it comes to graphics, although I do applaud them for the 60fps first approach, maybe the missing link is actually seeing it as intended in HDR..

I really am not that bothered about the graphics to that extent, having a clean 60hz image is about as much as I need, whilst I welcome 'glitz' and 'life like graphics', if the frame rate is all over the place or the effects detract from getting a perfect lap time, they can go to hell, and yes, wobbly wiper blades and wing mirrors, that includes you!

Being the owner of the Audi RS6 Avant/SportBack,i can tell that wiper shaking is quite real, they just lil bit overdid it for the effect.
As for graphics - T10 is not the dev im worried about graphics, seeing what they did with x360 in F3-F4 is just amazing, and always rock solid 60fps without any compromise.

My E46 M3 (and that's even a wobbly convertible) does not exhibit wobbly wipers/mirrors in 99% of driving (even at silly speeds), and looking on various motorsport videos on youtube, they don't flap around either. Obviously it goes without saying, if they are moving around that much they can't have much frictional force holding them in place which means they won't function as wipers very well..

I'm all for options though.. if people like the effect, power to them, but just let us turn it off.. the whole shaky head cam, blurry vision and equally unrealistic wiper/mirror wobbling totally turned me off NFS Shift, it just irrates you and is in your view all the damn time. The pCARS2 video's show how it should be done, very very dialled back and subtle, only on actual sharp bumps, not flapping around helplessly at 60MPH on smooth tarmac ;)

Well,this is not pc2 thread,so...
I like what T10 did, cars feels much more alive rather than "sterile clean"
pc2 doesn t show anything how it "should be done" as there are no standarts in this - some like one, others like other
I like "alive" cars"

I didn't really mean it that strongly to start an argument :)

I just meant pCars2 certainly is far closer to 'reality' in terms of degree of wiper/mirror wobble, i.e. it has 'some' but not 'loads' and certainly where the physics dictate it would be.

As I said, I'm all for options, it's when a company put marmite features in without allowing options does it cause issues.

I suspect that might be just the camera view that wobbles, but hopefully that will include car bits and pieces :)

In other news, I popped the Gamersyde HDR Vids onto a memory stick:
Samsung KU6400 - OK, slight improvement over youtube videos, namely less compression and a bit more contrast - 7/10
LG OLED55C6 - Much better, nice improvement, the subtle reflections lost in the SDR youtube footage really add some 'depth' to the image, their are loads of subtle lighting effects that make it feel far less sterile, and the actual HDR lighting is fantastic. 9/10

Neither of my TV's is fully capable of true HDR (1000nits+), but the LG by far looks very impressive indeed..

Its got me thinking now, have they been tweaking it for HDR? In which case, not many people will be able to really appreciate it, and if the SDR is as flat as it looks in all the video's we've seen then I think a lot of people may complain it doesn't pop like certain other games..

From what i read, only recording looks bad as HDR somehow brakes and it looks muddy and washed out,if not specific HDR cameras used.
People who saw it real in E3,said it looks fantastic and that there are no difference between HDR on/off,i tend to believe as T10 are not stupid.
Will try dig that info, but im 99% sure its not tweaked for HDR,i guess it looks lil bit better if you have HDR unit.

looked amazing on 49inch ks7000, the 2nd video with the rainstorm passing through looked awesome and very colourful and realistic, i getting a xbox one x just for this game and its 4k uhd player abilities.

I envy you who have TV's with full HDR support,i only have TV with partial HDR,but still it makes quite a nice difference.

If I buy it on XB1 will it be available on PC too or would I need to buy individual copies for both?
