Show Us Your Motors!

Ah I was going to ask that next. That's brilliant! Never understood why mining coins are worth so much but there you go.

Car wise, I wouldn't drop ££££ on a supercar. I don't understand how some of my friends have dropped mega money/finance on cars such as audi rs/amgs/ and BMW M cars. Most of the time they're parked up not even getting used.

Sure they get to enjoy the performance and epeen points amongst friends but in the end they don't have anything to show for it. Cash will always be king for me.
Yeah going on holiday is a waste of money too. Why go away when you can bath in money.

Best offer I'd had for it was 1750, but after that offer the drivers door lock jammed, and I discovered that the passenger door lock wouldn't unlock with the key either... So now one door is jammed shut, and the other has to stay unlocked. That was also someone who didn't know about the engine issue. They pulled out, perhaps unsurprisingly.

Other offers ranged from 1200 to 1500 with full disclosure of everything, someone offered me a swap for a 2000 Audi TT 225, and someone else offered me a swap for a BMW 1 Series, neither replied to me after I got back to them.

Breaking it I should easily get 2000, anything over that is a bonus. And I can SORN it and cancel my insurance, and don't have to worry about the impending doom that is MOT time.

Only just started taking bits off yesterday, the cat-back exhaust, diff and shafts, splitters, TSI's, side skirts, soft top roof, seats, and a few other bits are already spoken for...

Breaking a car seems like a great idea, if you have the space to do so, otherwise it's a mostly disassembled car (someone's going to take the wheels first just to make it awkward) sitting in the way.

Thankfully I have somewhere to put it, and the wheels did go first but I had some other worthless ones it's sitting on.

Haven't posted in here for ages!

I replaced my 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible with the Hirsch chip & exhaust with a brand new MG3. Huge, huge mistake. Picked the car up in March 2016 and after a miserable 14 months and 13,000 miles MG finally bought it back from me in May 2017

This has now been replaced by a cheap, short six month lease on an MG GS while I consider what to replace this with as a long term prospect

One month and 1500 miles in it is a better car than the MG3 but not one I'd buy outright
