*** Nintendo Switch ***

Sonic Mania is fantastic, been having such a blast playing it. They really captured the old games perfectly. Such a great compliment to the Switch!

Oh and the soundtrack is godly.

What's the battery like on the Wii-U one? I get a genuine 50hr+ charge out of the Switch Pro pad. I find it amazing that anyone can dislike that :p

Like 70+ hours.

I played over 180 hours of Zelda Breath of the Wild, I only ever charged it (i.e. it ran out of charge) once during that whole time.

If the Switch Pro pad really is 50+ hours, then I'm very happy with the battery life. Just that I read somewhere it had much less battery capacity and lasts up to 30 or so hours. I'm used to the amazing WiiU pro controller and by comparison, I feel the PS4 and XB1 controllers have abysmal battery life.

That and I had to charge it a bit before using it (on my PC via bluetooth cos the Switch isn't here yet).

Likewise. I had no idea it offered 70+ hours. That's incredible :)

I'm approximately 70hrs into BOTW and have recharged my pro controller once.

30 hours is on the money for Splatoon, longer on games with less rumble/motion control utilisation.

Sonic is great for £9, only criticism is that I'm crap and it feels like I'm not in control most of the time!

The one time it did die on me I just connected it to my battery pack whilst sat on the sofa and carried on :D

Loving Sonic Mania, £15 well spent, and I'm not suffering from any of the bugs Kotaku is reporting(screenshots and home button works fine).

So my left Joy con slides out on its own now and I want to replace it.

My problem is I bought it second hand so I dont have a receipt for it.

Can I still get it repaired via Nintendo and can I just send the controller off and not the whole unit? Really appreciate it if someone can help me out here.

Sonic Mania has some great Boss battles.

So far my favourite is the Chemical Plant 2 and Hydro City 2.
