Xbox One X

I ordered my iPad Pro from Very with a code. They emailed me 10pm the night before saying the code would not be honoured. I would have a backup if ordering from Very tbh however cheap it is...

I am well aware of them, done the very same thing and took a screenshot. Although, in fairness the code even says 10% off electricals...and 20% on everything else. If it doesn't go through, nothing is lost to be honest.
 
I had one in my basket from earlier, followed through the process and it's let me pre-order even though now the website say's it's out of stock for pre-order. It must have reserved me one soon as I put it in my basket. Also pre-ordered on Microsoft so will cancel one at a later date.
Who knows, might be able to make some money on one if the demand becomes high.
 
Pre-ordered mine from Game this morning and I'm sure it said "we take payment up to 7 days from release" I hope so anyway! wasn't going to bother with the X but its shiny and I'm weak!!!
 
Anyone who as pre-ordered from Amazon check your orders. Amazon are pre-charging the card for £1 and some banks have been refusing this and Amazon are just cancelling orders without contacting....

A few people I know have had this so worth checking.
 
Just popped in my pre order on Amazon too. Looking forward to it! Now to find a suitable 4k HDR tv.

So - whats the deal with games? Only games I can see are for the standard one. Any release pre- order titles? Or are the games same as for the one just with upgraded texture packs?

List of games "Enhanced for XBox One X" announced so far below. Some have additional content and detail, some just 4K textures, HDR, Dolby Atmos etc, some better framerates and scaled to 4k. As MS have XBox One X, XBox One S and Windows 10 gaming PCs there won't be many "Xbox One X exclusives" as such. They will be shared across all three platforms with benefits on each. Cost for X1S, 4K and XBox Live etc for X1X, High end graphics for W10 PCs. If you're a PC gamer think of some PCs playing a game at Medium settings and other at Ultra, that seems to be the concept MS are shooting for.

I'm hoping they do more cross platform games where you buy once on the store and can play on either XBox or PC with the same license.
