Was anyone else a bit disappointed with the appearance of Rhaegar?
I was expecting someone a bit more heroic and dashing instead of an older looking version of Viserys.

Great episode! Glad the Stark girls were the ones doing the sneaky moves. Would have really annoyed me if they fell for little fingers tricks again.

Cersei REALLY needs to get killed, she's just a nut job causing everyone problems. Looks like even Jamie is sick of her now as well. I was hoping he will be the one to kill her but can't see that happening now she's carrying his child.

Danaerys and Jon or should I say Aegon finally do the dirty. Just in time for them to find out they are related.

NK finally attacked the wall with badass blue blowtorch fire dragon . About time!

Can't wait for another year :(:(

Anyone else a bit disappointed by the ease with which Viserion melted the ancient and apparently heavily spell-laden wall? I mean seriously, the wall is 100 metres thick and has stood for aeons and Viserion burns through it in 5 minutes flat? Seems like the producers really wanted to get that over in a hurry.

One thing the show hasn't touched on is what are the origins of the White Walkers. I now we got that bit in the cave a few episodes ago, but we don't know why they even exist :p

Lol...

Argh, sex with your aunty..
I guess this makes Jon an Aunty-hero?

And once again, I'm kind of "happy but disappointed" with the whole "we now have two proper Targaryen hairs to the Iron Throne" delivery. Mainly because WTF wants to side with Targaryens in the grand scheme of things. Terrible rulers, historically most of them were incestuous nutjobs, Danny's brother was a louse, Danny is turning into "you will love me and serve me or my dragons will burn you" nut job herself, so - once again - out of all families, it's kind of meh to cheer for Targaryens in the war for iron throne. Then we have the whole "you slept with your aunt" yewwwwww-ness delivered on our screens. And once again - when all the internet forums and fictional spoilers speculated that Jon Snow was a son of Stark and Robert Baratheon, it felt better to know that the best hope of Westeros isn't in narrow selection of rulers screwing their closest family members...

Dragons are meant to be magical creatures. Let's go with that.

Since when has everyone been saying that? Speculation has always been that he's the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna. The 'R' in R+L=J never stood for Robert.

So how did he know the reiniforcements would be a dragon? Leaving them on the ice as a trap to wait for reinforcements fine, doesn't mean reinforcements would be a dragon.

So the nightkings plan from day 1 to get through the wall was:

Build an army
Somehow know that eventually some idiots will decide to try and capture a wight and take it back to the otherside.
Trap them somehow and wait for reinforcements.
Those will definitely come and will definitely include a dragon.
Burn down the wall.

He was on his own turf, it's unlikely a army would be sent to rescue them, so what else can get there quickly?

Given the comment about "how does she know she can't get pregnant!" I would now put all my savings on her having Snows baby.
You heard it here first.

Another prediction, I think at some point Jon might end up getting sent up in flames, maybe by the Wight Dragon, only to survive like Danearys because he is a Targarion.

Before and after the whole R+L=J gymnastics, and it always fitted better and was more elegant - not as expected as R+L=J, still barsteward, still Jon, still rightful heir but bearing resemblance to his parents and without creating weird plot devices where "promise me Ned" means multiple layers of lies wrecking Robert and Ned's friendship or where Jon has to go jiggy with his own aunt or even the whole "dude, your daddy already had one son called Aegon - what gives" brow twisters.

I love how this show always leaves me sated and satisfied. It felt like watching 5 hollywood blockbusters in one. Love the dialogue and the characters and their interactions so much. Great finale!
