Sprayed my clutch cover, not perfect but better than Suzuki manage to achieve for their factory finish!!![]()
I think Suzuki just use a couple of coats of halfords own brand rattle cans for their paint

Looks like you've done a good job

No issues so far and the only annoyance is the left to right slack in the throttle which is driving me mad but i have some derlrin in the workshop so will machine up a spacer to take up the slack .
Sounds like it needed a bit more work than I thought, at least I know she's in good hands. How's your son finding it? Some love the SV, others hate it.
Interesting, throttle on my MT-09 is the same- very sloppy, but also feels like the tube is too big for the bar. For a while I thought something was loose on the front end over bumps until I realised the knocking sensation was the throttle tube.
The RS is okay but not great ride-by-wire. Found it very unresponsive when blipping compared to the older 2015 street. The superduke had a similar issue.
I guess it's just ride by wire in general, seems a bit sluggish.
I'm the same. It was quite odd riding the street and superduke that had a little bit of play and unresponsive throttles.I can't stand loose throttles, all my bikes have correctly adjusted throttles with zero slack/play in the throttle cables. Not sure how I'd like a slack ride by wire throttle that you can't adjust...![]()
I liked it, but the longer I owned it... the more I noticed how slow it is, compared to other bikes.I think it's only you who didn't like it![]()
It is, I didn't want her to be parted out... I regret selling it, after it left tbh. That exhaust noteThat must be a great feeling seeing your totalled bike back on the road (whether you own it or not). I know I'd be well pleased.![]()
