FFS O2 have also uplifted all the base tariffs.

No more £43 tariff, so I have to pay more per month and now £190 up front for a 64Gb

wow 02 are even more crazy this time round. I think this time i will be going sim only and buying the phone from apple out right.

im out of contract on an o2 £25 a month 20gb data and all in calls and texts.. I haven't seen much better but if any of you guys have please let me know. Tend to stick with o2 because of where i live which is a real pain.

Also has anyone ever used two iphones at the same time ? I am guessing there would be down falls as such because of texts and pics only being on the device that had the sim card in it at the time..

My issue. I would like a bigger screen for everyday use but i have grown up (mentally i think lol) and im not going to pay the price for the X even though i can afford it.

basically im looking to buy the 8 plus but i do a lot of sports, cycling triathlons and so on so i am often training... the 8 plus would be way to big to drag around with me whilst doing that and on top of that its a good way of breaking a phone. My idea is to put the sim back in my old iphone6 whist in training. Main reasons so i can receive texts and calls but most importantly for the Find My Friends app in case i have a misshap whilst out on the bike.

I did this years and years ago. I basically backed up the older phone on itunnes then backed up the new phone so it was almost like a clone with all the same apps and pics on. I would be happy doing this one a week so that pictures and so on were on both devices..

Can anyone see any major floors with this idea ? I just really cant be dealing with the Iphone X.

Any advice would be great.

44 mins in and I can reserve for launch day in any store around the country in any colour or capacity.
Reckon there's a lot of people waiting on the X

This time last year you couldn't get a 7 plus for love nor money unless you were prepared to take a 256gb pink one. Sales are either very slow or they have made a huge amount more than they did last year.

I have an O2 sim only deal, put a reservation in for a 64GB silver 8 on the iPhone Upgrade Programme.

I'm not convinced they are. The X will sell well enough I am sure but I think a lot of people are simply voting with their wallets. I would probably have bought an 8 plus already if they didn't raise the price by £80 for the base model. I might also have been tempted to get the 128gb if they offered that but they are clearly trying to push people to buy the 256gb models.

They are doing 20GB for £20pm on sim only currently.

I still can't decide between keeping my 6 or an 8 or 8+, luckily it seems I've all the time in the world to choose as all models and colours seem to still be available.

I'm in the same boat as you but I am definitely upgrading. The 8/+ just seem like bad value to me so if I was going to get one of this years models I would go for the X. I'm pretty sure that I am going to get a second hand 7 plus instead though. I'll save ~£400 and they are still insanely fast.

I'm in exactly the same boat. I can't decide between a standard 8 or the X.

My 6 does everything I need, but either would be a nice upgrade for a few years.
